We are seeking an experienced Tableau Server Administrator to join our Data Visualization Competence Center. This role requires managing the day-to-day operations of our Tableau Server environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the server, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance to support our growing user base. You will work closely with our IT Service Owner (ITSO) in Switzerland.
**YOUR CHALLENGE**
- Administer and maintain Tableau Server environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades
- Monitor server health, performance, and user activity to ensure high availability and stability
- Troubleshoot server issues and resolve incidents efficiently
- Automate repetitive tasks and server maintenance using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
- Develop and maintain comprehensive server documentation, including configuration settings and maintenance procedures

Lo que harás

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations tailored to business needs
- Provide support to BI users, addressing technical issues and offering guidance
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, and self-service resources to upskill users at varying proficiency levels
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Prep and Site Administration
- SQL knowledge for querying data sources
- Work with agile development methodology, adhering to best practice
- Experience in working with Tableau and SQL
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or related discipline
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiples tasks and prioritize effectively
