We are looking for a Devops Engineer to join our software and automation team in the Galileo project, the European satellite constellation for positioning and navigation.

In this team we take care of the automation of the deployment and configuration of a series of services of the Control Center, such as the DNS, the access system, the antivirus, the transmission of files, the centralization of information, etc.

In addition, we carry out a series of small developments to automate the maintenance and control tasks of the system.

The work will allow you to have an overview of the Galileo project and you will contribute to the design, development, deployment and validation of these services, as well as their securing and hardening.

You will expand your knowledge in Python, security, automation, Linux systems and virtualization and work with tools such as Ansible, Rundeck and Jenkins, among others. Knowledge of UNIX/Linux-based environments.

In our team you will manage the SIEM security systems for one of our clients in order to keep computers, networks and data safe from cyber-attacks.

Your daily tasks will consist of:

• Support the operations of the customer security monitoring tools
• Be the first escalation point for any issues with the correlation rules

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) expert with solid skills in containers, orchestration, and management of multicloud and on-premise environments, specifically on platforms such as VMware and Proxmox. You will contribute to the execution of initiatives that optimize CI/CD processes, ensure the operational efficiency of our systems in these environments, and explore new technologies that can add value to the team and the organization.

Main requirements are:

• Containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) with experience in on-prem Kubernetes (Kubeadm, RKE, etc) and managed environments in multicloud.
• Creation of simple applications, containerization, and deployment in multicloud and on-premise environments with CI/CD.
• Working in Linux environments, typically Ubuntu.
• Multicloud and on-premise infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, etc) and provisioning as code (Ansible).
• Solid knowledge in at least one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP), and experience in on-premise environments like VMware and Proxmox.

• Programming in Python, valuable languages oriented to task automation and scrapping in multicloud and on-premise environments.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team you will:

• Develop functional and appealing UI based on usability
• Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface
• Create quality mockups and prototypes
• Promote usability best practices
• Maintain current solutions to continuously deliver value to customersWork on new features with React and PrimeReact
• Work closely with QA engineers and product Managers, helping us moving towards continuous delivery
• Provide website maintenance and enhancements
  
  

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for engineers with solid experience with UI development (JavaScript & React) and:

Strong understanding and deep knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Able to work under pressure and adapt quickly to change of priorities.

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

You are passionate about creating scalable, high-performance, well-structured and efficient code.

Good understanding of the best practices for cross-browser compatibility

Experience working with complex logic

Passion for learning new technologies and sharing knowledge with others.

Good eye for detail and visual composition

React with PrimeReact UI

We value: previous experience working with agile methodologies and working with end-to-end and component tests using Cypress ECharts or others and Gantt chart library Tailwind CSS
