What’s Your Mission?

As our Accounting Manager at IKONO, your mission is to ensure the financial heartbeat of our company runs smoothly and transparently across all global entities. You'll lead with integrity, optimize financial processes, and turn numbers into smart decisions that drive our growth and success. Think of yourself as the architect of accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

👥 Lead the Team: Mentor and manage our accounting crew (General & Treasury Accountants), encouraging top performance and growth.

📊 Own the Numbers: Deliver accurate and timely financial reports (balance sheets, P&L, cash flow) that reflect our financial health.

📥 Manage the Cycle: Ensure efficient billing and invoicing processes, maintaining clean and accurate records of all receivables and payables.

📘 Manage the Ledger: Supervise journal entries, account reconciliations, and ensure a clean and accurate general ledger.

🏦 Oversee Treasury Accounting: Manage bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of treasury-related accounting records.

🔍 Champion Compliance: Lead internal and external audits, ensuring we meet every legal and regulatory standard.

⚙️ Streamline & Optimize: Identify smarter, faster ways to run accounting operations and strengthen internal controls.

📈 Support Strategy: Partner with finance teams to support budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.

🌍 Collaborate Globally: Work closely with admins, store managers, and international teams to keep finances aligned.

What You Bring:

• Accounting Mastery – Deep knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial regulations.
• Tech-Savvy – Proficient in accounting systems (preferably SAP) and Excel wizardry.
• Treasury Accounting – Experienced in handling bank reconciliations and accounting records related to treasury.
• Audit Experience – Hands-on with internal/external audits and compliance practices.
• Ledger Expertise – Solid grasp of journal entries, account balancing, and reconciliations.
• Forecasting & Budgeting – Confident in helping build accurate forecasts and budgets.
• Process Improvement – Always looking for ways to work smarter, not harder.
• Global Perspective – Comfortable managing international accounting operations.
• Tax & Reporting Knowledge – Up to speed on statutory requirements and tax rules.
• Data-Driven – You don’t just crunch numbers—you translate them into insight.
• Language Proficiency: Advanced-Native level (or near to) English and Spanish is essential; additional european languages are a plus.
