We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Buyer to join our Procurement team. The Site Buyer will be responsible for managing the procurement process on-site, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials required for the site’s operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of purchasing processes, supply chain management, and vendor relationships.

The scope of materials responsibility will be mechanical category.

Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement activities for the site, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders (operations, engineering, etc.) to understand procurement needs and priorities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best possible terms and service.
• Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Track and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Monitor supply chain continuity, ensuring delivery on time and stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Analyse and report on procurement performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
• Handle any procurement-related issues or disputes with suppliers.
• Ensure that all products procured meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Buyer, Procurement Specialist, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
• Technical interpretation of Drawings
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
