Position Summary The Yacht Management Assistant will assist the Yacht Managers with daily operations, ensuring smooth management of multiple yachts.
Initially an administrative role but developing further to take on increased responsibilities with the possibility of growing into a Yacht Manager position for the right candidate.
Key Duties/Responsibilities Primarily an administrative role, requiring strong organisational skills & exceptional attention to detail.The candidate will be liaising directly with Captains, Senior Crew Members, Suppliers & Service Providers.Basic financial acumen including a working knowledge of budget tracking, invoice payments, and expense reconciliation.Required Experience & Skill Set Effective communication skills in fluent English, both by phone and email.
Any other languages are an advantage.Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Smartsheet, etc.Financial/accounting knowledge.Knowledge of maritime regulations and compliance is an advantage but not essential.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated person at the start of their career, looking to step into the yachting industry in an administrative role.
