Are you ready to work with a truly international team and be part of an exciting program driving the digital transformation in the Human Resource (HR) department for Siemens Energy?
Welcome to our project, where we are transforming HR processes in more than 50 countries.
You will be part of the project team that will implement world leader software solutions in several countries.
Support project team will be your main duty. You will work closely with project managers and participate in project calls. While most of the team has their heads down on their project, and the management team are busy with the wider picture, often it will be you who spots the opportunities or emerging issues that we need to focus on next.
Project Activities Will Include As Example
- Help on planning of all project activities according to the project charter.
- Collect, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Create test scenarios and testing.
- Data migration, data cleaning and data management activities, ...
- Coordinate team logistics, organization of key meetings, follow-ups…
- Maintain project knowledge base in SharePoint. Create and maintain documentation.
- Investigate and find solutions for issues that may appear during the project.
- Maintain interim solutions (e.g. monitoring system integrations)
Passion and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…
- Experience or education in a research or data driven field such as economics, business, mathematics, engineering, computers, etc.
- English is the working language in Siemens Energy, therefore fluency in written and spoken English is required. Fluency in other languages will be appreciated.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team. Ability to successfully interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs, which includes willingness to try and understand and be tolerant of differing opinions and views.
- Flexible and able to contribute to multiple tasks simultaneously, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Fearless to technology and be computer literate in standard software applications, especially in the Microsoft Office platform.
- Comfortable managing complexity, ambiguity and change.
- Solid methodical, able to understand conceptual ideas and represent them with schemas or draws

How To Contribute To Our Vision
As part of the role, you will:
- You support the Team „Planning, Reporting and Analysis“ in the Business Unit Onshore of Siemens Gamesa located in Hamburg (Germany) and Zamudio, Madrid and/or Pamplona (Spain)
- (pro-) Active collaboration in maintaining, developing and optimizing Excel-tools and PowerBI-reports for the top BU management will be center of your tasks
- Additionally you support ad-hoc reporting requirements and are involved in regular controlling tasks
- You create and analyze parts of the monthly closing reporting
- Last but not least: You actively support the department on the way to further digitize and optimize current business processes and bring in your own ideas
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…
- You are enrolled and successfully study at a Hochschule / University towards a Finance or Business-related degree. You have at least 1 more year of a Master’s degree.
- You like to support us for 20h per week
- You have previous relevant work experience within Finance/Commercial Areas or substantial internship/working student activities, especially in the area of finance or controlling
- You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft PowerApps and have already been able to apply them in practice
- You are fit in dealing with MS Office, especially in Excel (e.g. pivot tables, v-lookup, complex formula chains) and PowerBI
- You have excellent English skills, both orally and in writing, additional language skills (German and/or Spanish) would be an advantage
