Tradition is the interdealer broking arm of Compagnie Financière Tradition and one of the world's largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter financial and commodity related products. CFT is represented in over 28 countries, employing over 2,500 people.

Tradition is currently seeking to appoint an Equity Derivatives Broker to be based within our Madrid office.

Main responsibilities within the Equity Derivatives Broker role include:

• Maintain and build new relationships with corporates.
• Execute trades in a timely manner to maintain, retain and further develop client relationships.
• Keep up to date with market movements and analysis to provide an excellent service to our clients.
• Further improve our offering through various forms of engagements such as; client meetings, industry events.
• Actively grow client coverage with the use of various platforms provided.
• Work to identify new market niches and to offer new and improved services to clients.
• Ensure that all trades are executed are compliant with company policy and exchange regulations.

Key skills, experience and competencies required to be successful in this role:

• Previous broking experience will be required.
• The ability to problem-solve at pace.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
