VHIR offers a vacant for an Assistant Laboratory Technician position within the Rheumatology Research Group – IMID-Biobank.

Required:

Education and qualifications:

• CFGS (Higher-Level Training Cycle), at least second-year in progress
• Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (written and spoken)
  
  

• Experience in biobanking
• Experience with automated laboratory equipment
• Experience in Quality Management Systems
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Access)
• Highly organized and flexible
• Detail-oriented and committed to high-quality lab work
• Strong teamwork skills
  
  

• Prepare and ship materials for biological sample collection
• Manage the reception of biological samples
• Assist in the processing and storage of biological samples and associated data
• Assist in the maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Assist in the of consumables and reagents stock control
• Experimental support to laboratory technicians
  
  

• Part-time position: 15h/week.
• Starting date: immediate
• Gross annual salary: 6.100€ - 6.230€ / (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
• Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
