NoOffer DescriptionTo initiate the selection process for the hiring of 1 Laboratory Technician on a temporary contract, in accordance with the criteria, requirements and selection system established in the attached Annex.Within the RIAPAd group, the applicant shall be able to perform:Processing of human samples, both blood and liver tissue, to obtain DNA, RNA and proteins.Flow cytometry techniques for immunophenotypic analysis of human cells and population separation.Molecular biology techniques: PCR, western blot.Development of ethanol exposure models in vitro and in experimental animals.Specific RequirementsBe a Spanish national, a national of a member country of the European Union or a foreigner with a residence and work permit in Spain.Hold a minimum qualification as a Laboratory Technician and/or equivalent.The minimum requirements must be accredited with those certificates that are valid in law, including all those that demonstrate the aforementioned professional experience, in line with the functions to be carried out and the assessment criteria.
In the case of qualifications obtained abroad, their homologation must necessarily be accredited.The conclusion of the contract is subject to the availability of the project's budget and to the successful candidate's compliance with the requirements of current employment legislation.

): whole blood, plasma, serum, liver tissue (10 points)Experience in flow cytometry techniques: cell identification and separation (mainly monocytes and peripheral blood mononuclear cells) (10 points).Advanced computer skills (word processing and Excel spreadsheets).
(5 points)Extensive knowledge of quantitative (for microRNA and mRNA expression) and qualitative PCR technique, including initial interpretation of results (5 points).Experience in cell culture with in vitro exposure to ethanol (10 points).Experience in animal experimentation (5 points).Intermediate level of English language enabling technical documents to be understood (5 points).Certificate of disability (0-2 points).Personal interview: (0-20 points).Selection processThe selection process will be governed by the principles of publicity, equality, merit and capacity, and a selection body will be set up for this purpose, made up of representatives of the research group and of the Technical Management Unit of the IBSAL.The selection process will consist of two phases:Analysis and curricular assessment phase of all the applications received, classifying them on the basis of the best adaptation of the Curriculum Vitae to the established profile and compliance with the requirements.Personal interview: at least the three candidates with the highest score in Phase 1 will be called, provided that the score in Phase 1 exceeds half plus one; the Selection Board may call more candidates for an interview.
