Science Interpretation & Content Developer

We are seeking a Science Interpretation & Content Developer to join our team at Icaria Atelier. In this role, you will translate complex scientific concepts into engaging museum experiences that captivate and educate visitors of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Develop compelling scientific narratives and educational content for museum exhibitions, including hands-on demonstrations, interactive displays, and multimedia presentations
• Create detailed briefs for scientific illustrations, animations, and interactive exhibits that effectively communicate complex concepts
• Coordinate with scientific advisors, educational specialists to maintain scientific integrity
• Work closely with design teams, multimedia producers, and fabricators to ensure proper implementation of scientific content

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Sciences, Science Communication, or related field
• Demonstrated experience in translating complex scientific concepts for public audiences
• Track record of developing engaging science-based content for museums or educational institutions
• Strong understanding of informal learning principles and science education best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1/C2 level)
• Knowledge of Arabic is advantageous
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to scientific accuracy
• Experience in international science communication projects preferred
