General Overview

• Our data ecosystem is built on self-hosted Airflow & dbt Core, along with multiple BigQuery instances.
• The current setup was built several years ago and has become highly customized.
• While this customization supports flexibility, it now limits development speed and reduces analytics efficiency.
• We’re looking for a highly technical expert who can redesign, simplify, and standardize our DWH infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Identify and carefully resolve infrastructure inefficiencies
• Conduct audits of existing infrastructure and propose improvements
• Oversee infrastructure health, performance, and cost efficiency
• Evaluate architecture proposals from peers and provide feedback
• Make key architectural proposals
• Develop and deploy IaC using Terraform
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using BigQuery, Airflow & dbt

The Data Loss Prevention (DLP) engineering team is responsible for protecting Swiss Re’s sensitive data through the development and implementation of processes, tools and strategies that prevent data leakage and misuse.

Role

For Spain the base salary range for this position is between EUR 42,000 and EUR 70,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

What You Will Do

We are looking for a Engineering Manager (Web Platform) to lead a team of engineers with a strong focus on modern web development stacks to help build and maintain the backend for our Game LiveOps platform. In this role, you’ll work closely with product teams, designers, and other disciplines to deliver high-performance tools and features that support real-time operations and engaging gameplay experiences.

Benefits

Participarás en el desarrollo de aplicaciones backend en Java y colaborarás con equipos multidisciplinarios en entornos cloud (AWS). Este rol es ideal para alguien con 1-2 años de experiencia que quiera fortalecer sus conocimientos en microservicios y arquitectura en la nube.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar aplicaciones utilizando Java y Spring Boot.
• Colaborar en la creación de servicios REST y microservicios.
• Aprender sobre arquitecturas basadas en eventos y contenedores.
• Apoyar en tareas básicas de infraestructura en AWS.
• Participar en la mejora continua del código y buenas prácticas.

Requisitos

• 1-2 años de experiencia en desarrollo con Java.
• Conocimientos básicos en Spring Boot y servicios REST.
• Familiaridad con bases de datos relacionales (Oracle, MySQL o similares).
• Comprensión básica de control de versiones (Git).
• Interés en aprender sobre AWS, microservicios y herramientas como Terraform.

Buscamos un Cloud Engineer para incorporarse a nuestro equipo especializado en Infraestructura cloud dentro del área corporativa de IT de Deloitte en Madrid.

Formando parte de este equipo, participarás en la provisión, operación y gestión de soluciones en entornos multicloud de la mano de un equipo sólido y consolidado; participarás en proyectos de nuevos despliegues, automatización de procesos y migraciones de sistemas y soluciones al Cloud y te desarrollarás como experto/a en tecnologías de nube.

¿Cómo será tu día a día?
- Gestionarás proyectos de Infraestructuras IT en Cloud
- Participarás en iniciativas de provisión, arquitectura y despliegue de infraestructuras en Cloud para soluciones nativas en Cloud, o migradas desde nuestros datacenters.
- Trabajarás con equipos globales, multiculturales, en proyectos de impacto.
- Desde el corazón de las Infraestructuras IT de Deloitte trabajarás con equipos de diferentes líneas de servicio, aportando tu experiencia a proyectos de diferentes ámbitos y diferentes tecnologías.
- Desplegarás toda tu creatividad automatizando y desarrollando scripts que optimicen la operación, monitorización y resiliencia de las soluciones y las infraestructuras

¿Cómo te imaginamos?

Técnicamente, encajarás en el puesto si cumples con estos requisitos: Titulación de grado de ingeniería, preferentemente Informática, Telecomunicaciones o similares
- Nivel alto de inglés y dominio del español.
- Experiencia profesional de al menos 2 años en la construcción y despliegue de arquitecturas Cloud IaaS, SaaS y PaaS
- Conocimientos de gestión y optimización de arquitecturas Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Conocimiento de servicios en nube
Conocimientos de lenguajes de programación como Python y tecnologías DevSecOps (Terraform, etc...)
- Conocimientos en administración, automatización y monitorización avanzada de sistemas operativos (Linux, Windows)Conocimientos básicos de servicios de bases de datosServicios y sistemas web, APIs, microservicios
