As part of Minor Hotels, the region of Minor Europe and the Americas is responsible for more than 350 properties in 30 countries and plans to grow across all segments, with a focus on its upper-upscale and luxury brands.

Belonging to Business Intelligence department in the Operational Excellence Team, candidate will:

• Support to the data analysis, data extraction and updates of needed reports
• Optimize and develop improvements regarding current analysis & reports
• Update recurrent dashboards, planning their updates in advance with the team
• Sustain in ensuring the integrity and availability of data and ensure that they can support the company´s growth with our current
• Contribute to creating a culture data-driven decision making
• Collection, monitoring and analysis of KPI´s by business area

QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineering
• High command of English, both written and spoken.
• Having a master’s in data analytics, statistics or Big Data is a plus

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE

• Glad to manipulate data sets and building statistical models
• Knowledge programming based on statistical computer languages: R or Python
• Knowledge querying databases with SQL
• Knowledge of using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modelling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
• Desirable: knowledge of visualizing/presenting data with Power BI / Tableau
• Desirable: knowledge of Google BigQuery or other Cloud Big Data Platforms (Azure,AWS)

CONDITIONS

• The position will be located at the Central Office in Madrid, Spain (Santa Engracia 120, 7th floor).
• The tutor will be the VP Operational Excellence Analytics
• Duration: 6 months + 6 months (1 full year).

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Food And Beverage Intern at Minor Hotels Europe and Americas in Barcelona. The intern will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to food service, customer service, and food & beverage operations, as well as utilizing communication and culinary skills.
