We are looking for a new Analyst to join our buy-side team in Madrid.
Tasks
- Actively identifying and assessing potential target investment companies
- Conduct thorough research on selected target companies, including financial, strategic, and competitor analysis
- Analysis, preparation and drafting presentations of company profiles, market and sector reports, information memorandums and transaction documentation
- Collaborate with senior team members in marketing and origination activities
- Assist in preparing historical and projected financial statements
- Analysis of financial implications of mergers and acquisitions and
- Conduct valuation analysis
Requirements
- A highly effective team player and motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, tenacity, and strong market research abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, presentational, adaptability and time management skills
- Holds strong academic qualifications, including a completed university degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a science field with a financial focus
- Previous experience with transaction exposure in Corporate Finance, M&A, Transaction Services, Consulting, or Private Equity; operational or in-house experience is also considered
- First professional experience or relevant internships
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish
