Job Description

Please note This position will be based in our LEGO® Sales Office in Madrid and will follow a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remotely. Relocation support is not offered.
Core Responsibilities
- Actively participate to Drive Period Campaigns (DPC) and product launches roll out alongside trade marketing manager, focusing on tool kit roll out and creative execution.
- Lead and drive non standardized materials for displays, promo areas, endcaps if needed.
- Local expert for end-to-end execution tracking being Sales, Agency & Western Europe Marketing regional contact person, as well as person-to-go in France-Iberia BU.
- Leverage retailer, shopper and consumer insights and translate findings into action. Track and evaluate results and adapt processes and materials accordingly.
- Contribute to Integrated Commercial Plan (ICP) for Y+1, as TM member part of ICP process of the Business Unit.
- Budget ownership including strategic prioritization in line with business priorities as well as Sales and Marketing needs and opportunities.
- Curious explorer who brings external developments in and generates ideas proactively to ensure Trade Marketing innovations in omnichannel spaces.
- Responsible for test & learn activities in Grocery channels, track and evaluate results in order to scale effective solutions.
The LEGO Marketing Team brings one of the world’s most iconic brands and its products for consumers and shoppers to life. Our Marketing Team consists of amazing marketeers who distil audience insights, take decisions rooted in data, and develop and implement effective marketing plans, with 360 campaigns including traditional and digital media, events and instore execution, ensuring strong media presence and engagement.
Included in the Marketing department, the TM team has the responsibility to improve the shopper experience with the LEGO brand in our point of sales (Online, LEGO Certified Stores, Specialists, Grocery, Department Stores). It defines, develops and implements the strategy of activation of our whole franchises portfolio into the distribution channels.
You'll be reporting directly to FRIB TM Director, working closely with the whole TM team. You will take ownership of a consistent activation plan of various Drive Period Campaigns improving instore branding at retailers’, as well as effectiveness of activations, identifying markets opportunities to be caught and implemented. The aim will be to deliver outstanding shopper and consumer activation across the channel, working in close collaboration with marketing and sales functions.
Do You Have What It Takes
- Relevant Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing or Sales experience within FMCG or premium consumer brands
- Track record of designing and rolling out innovative projects in the area of Trade Marketing
- Commercial savvy, strong shopper first thinking, understanding of omnichannel Trade Marketing as well as retail-landscape
- Strong strategic and coordinated end to end thinking and ability of translating strategy into local priorities for Trade Marketing
- Relationship builder and collaborator with a strong ability to influence, gain trust quickly
- Drive for results – championing effectiveness and data centricity, bravery to test hypothesis, live a constantly learning attitude, strong analytical and evaluation skills and ability to turn findings into action
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Proficient in Spanish and English
