The Service Advisor for Global Services Sales (GSS) plays a pivotal role in transforming the Professional Services (PS) management team. This role ensures consistency, availability, and quality in service delivery, significantly enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of the sales process. As a customer-facing role, the Service Advisor is integral to the Services leadership team and is critical to the success of the Services department.
Responsibilities
- Consistency and Standardization:
- Serve as the single point of contact for PS information, supporting all new Services Sales.
- Develop and maintain standardized service templates and processes to reduce errors and rework.
- Process Management:
- Implement and refine processes for seamless interaction between PS, Sales, and PMO.
- Ensure adherence to established processes and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance:
- Deliver high-quality, accurate work that can be shared with customers with minimal review.
- Maintain high standards in presentation style, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all communications.
- Content Management:
- Leverage senior Navis Project Management experience to provide excellent information content.
- Ensure documentation and work orders are up-to-date and aligned with controlled PMO sources.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Act as a key member of the Services leadership team, contributing to strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with regional teams, product teams, and finance to assess and incorporate new service offerings.
- RACI Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate standard sizing processes.
- Engage with regions to assess variability and deviations from standard sizing.
- Support booking target achievement strategies and forecast accuracy.
- Partner and Opportunity Management:
- Manage partner software engagement processes.
- Oversee RFP and opportunity-specific activities, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
- Large Account and WO Standardization:
- Engage with PS leadership on MSA services and ensure consistency in large account templates.
- Update and maintain PS work order templates.
- Collaboration with Product and Sales:
- Define strategies with the Solution Architect and Product teams for relevant product bundles.
- Ensure services scope alignment with product and sales opportunities.
- Services Quote Automation:
- Lead the scoping, configuration, and deployment of CPQ DH Services Quote Automation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior management or director-level role within a services or sales environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in process standardization, quality assurance, and customer engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with automation and standardization tools and processes.
