Role Description This full-time Property Maintenance Manager role at Nordic RentAway Spain in Alicante offers a hybrid work model.
As a Property Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance and repairs of our properties, located from Dénia to Santa Pola, ensure compliance with safety regulations, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate all property maintenance activities with our teams and clients.
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience within general maintenance and preferably experience within the hospitality sector to understand the challenges that may arise.
Qualifications Proven experience in property maintenance Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations Strong knowledge of building systems and structural elements Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance issues Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plus Experience in administrative processes (e.g.
budgeting, performance management) Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly Problem-solving aptitude Excellent organizational and leadership skills Experience with property management software is a plus Relevant certifications in maintenance or facility management are advantageous A High school diploma or equivalent; degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in Facility Management is preferred Responsibilities Provide supervision/support to all staff on a daily basis Inspect properties regularly to ensure safety and quality standards Arrange for routine maintenance of installations at properties (e.g.
swimming-pools, air-conditions, heaters, whirlpools, other mechanical installations) Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests Plan and oversee renovations and construction Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g.
power outages, leaks, etc.)
Find ways to reduce operating costs for the company and clients Manage and supervise relationships with maintenance technicians, contractors and service providers Review all completed work orders, and inspects completed work as needed to ensure accuracy and quality Assists all departments in handling any unusual maintenance related guest complaints Maintain budgets, expenses and activity logs Provides supervision/support to all staff on a daily basis Maintain open communications with all departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction General Promote teamwork at all times Notify important issues promptly and fully to clients Be polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees Comply with company uniform and standards Maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area What we offer International work environment Full-Time, 40 hours/week Location: Hybrid, work from home and on-site in the Alicante Province Entry salary: 1.600,00€ monthly net salary Apply in two steps: 1) Through Linked-In, 2) E-mail your MOTIVATED LETTER to: ****** We look forward to receiving your application!
