Function description:

At their warehouse in Alcalá de Henares you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily warehousing activities. You will have an overview in the WMS of the production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ensuring that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations, resulting in a high customer satisfaction.

Key activities:

• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area; schedule the movement of materials to and from the warehouse.
• Maintain the storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, and recommending improvements.
• Support the daily warehouse production plan.
• Coordinate unloading and loading slots at the warehouse.
• Control inventory by coordinating physical counts, reconciling variances, and inputting data.
• Ensure equipment operation by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, conducting preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
• Accomplish warehouse and organizational goals by completing related tasks as needed.
• Create and share reports within the organization and with customers.
• Organize meetings with team members to build trust and foster shared responsibility.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure on-time arrival in perfect condition and resolve any incidents that may arise.
