About RoomPriceGenie ✨🧞♂️
Founded in 2017, RoomPriceGenie is dedicated to helping hoteliers around the globe achieve optimal pricing. 🌍 We understand that many small hotels face challenges with digitalization, making their operations increasingly complex and often resulting in lost revenue. This is where we come in!
We have developed a powerful solution that enables hotels to set the right prices in just seconds. ⏱️ Our state-of-the-art algorithm analyzes both internal hotel data and market trends to recommend pricing strategies that enhance revenue and improve booking rates.
With customers spanning the globe—from the USA and Canada to Iceland, South Africa, China, Slovenia, Italy, and the UK—RoomPriceGenie has made a meaningful impact in the hospitality industry, and our clients love the results. ❤️
Now, we are excited to expand our customer base and spread the word about how we can support hoteliers in optimizing their pricing strategies. We invite you to join us on this journey! We actively encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds to enrich our team and drive innovation.
Your Role
Ready to make a real commercial impact? As a Sales Manager for Germany, you will be the driving force behind converting interested hoteliers into long-term RoomPriceGenie customers.
Before we continue, it’s important to note that while this role sits close to hotel technology and revenue management, it does not involve account management, revenue management, or consulting responsibilities. The focus here is fully on new business — taking qualified prospects from demo → trial → paying customer.
Your Responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact for prospects in the German region — guiding them confidently through the sales journey.
- Own the full sales cycle, from discovery and demo support, through our 14-day free trial, all the way to signed subscription.
- Work with a steady flow of qualified inbound leads generated by our dedicated BDM and SDR teams.
- In quieter periods, build your own supplementary pipeline using your network, outbound outreach, and market knowledge.
- Deliver high-impact sales conversations that create urgency, demonstrate value, and convert trials into subscriptions.
- Forecast accurately, manage your pipeline with discipline, and consistently exceed your targets.
- Provide real-time feedback to the product team on customer needs, helping shape product enhancements and regional strategy.
Your Profile
- C2-level German proficiency and fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Currently based in Germany or in CET timezone.
- A high-performing SaaS sales closer with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding quota.
- Experienced selling hotel technology (PMS, RMS, channel managers, CRS, booking engines, or related SaaS products).
- Skilled at guiding prospects through structured trials and turning interest into commitment.
- Motivated by targets, KPIs, and commercial achievement — you love to win.
- Excellent at objection handling, value articulation, and driving urgency during the 14-day trial period.
- Comfortable owning your results with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating with a global team.
- Proactive in building your own pipeline when needed, even while working warm leads.
- An outstanding communicator who builds rapport quickly and confidently with hoteliers.
You prefer relying solely on inbound leads, feel uncomfortable with quotas or commercial expectations, or are looking for a position focused on nurturing existing clients. This role is best suited for someone energized by proactive outreach, commercial ownership, and a target-driven environment — a true sales hunter.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling revenue management or pricing-related software.
- Existing network of hotel decision-makers across Germany.
- Additional languages (always a plus in our global team).
- Start-up or scale-up experience in fast-moving SaaS environments.
At RoomPriceGenie, we don’t just offer jobs; we offer an adventure! 🚀 Join us in an exciting startup atmosphere where you can grow your career while changing the world for tens of thousands of independent hoteliers. 🌍 Our global and diverse team is fueled by passion and a shared mission. We thrive in a culture that’s all about transparency, respect, and making a real impact together.
Here’s what you can expect when you become part of our Genie family:
- Remote-First Model: You can work flexibly from anywhere. 🌍🧑💻At the same time, we support co-working and you’re of course welcome to work from our offices in Mannheim, Berlin, or Sydney whenever you like. 🏢

- Birthday Celebrations: It’s your day, so take it off! 🎂 Celebrate your birthday the way you want, guilt-free.
- Flexible Hours: We get it—life happens! ⏰ We offer flexible working hours to help you balance your work and personal life seamlessly.
- Wellbeing Matters: Your mental health is a top priority. 🧘 Every Genie gets access to Headspace, the leading meditation app, to help you cultivate a happier, healthier, and more zen life. 🌿
