Responsibilities

• Responsible for day to day Trading Operations You will work towards, and ultimately attain, a best in class approach to Trading across the department; fostering a data driven approach in a culture of accountability and ownership.
• Deliver a first-class sports betting offer, and customer experience:you will lead a large team, responsible for the events, markets and odds that our customers enjoy. Making sure the coverage is competitive in the market, and that bets are settled quickly and accurately, with disputes resolved with a sense of urgency and fairness.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Product Functions: You have a clear understanding of what is important to the customer and will work closely with product and commercial to prioritise accordingly, from the day to day offer, all the way to long term strategic, technical roadmaps.
• Optimise profitability in the context of achieving sustainable growth: You’ll play a collaborative role in devising a pricing strategy that both grows the bottom line and also helps attain market share in competitive markets.
• Analyse and Report on KPIs: You will work closely with finance to ascertain ambitious KPIs, and will endeavour to be an outward facing department that regularly reports on performance, with a clear understanding of what drives any deviance from targets.
• Passion for sports-betting: You will have an inherent passion for sports, and betting on sports, but will also be able to transmit this passion to the team, such that they are engaged and display a similar level of intensity for what we do.
• Evolve the department’s approach: In a competitive setting, build maintain department wide attitude that sees best practise as a moving target, within Trading, and never become complacent in this regard

• In-depth understanding of Trading and Sportsbook KPIs, products and success factors: You have extensive experience in similar roles and understand the drivers that create a successful sportsbook. You can demonstrate a track record of success in this regard.
• Strong leadership and communication skills:You will be responsible for a large and ever evolving team, that will be the sportsbook hub for the company, and you must possess excellent communication skills, both personally and as a department
• The ability to assist in the prioritisation and delivery of a roadmap: You bring extensive experience of working towards, and participating in the delivery of, ambitious roadmaps in an increasingly competitive and diverse marketplace.
• The ability to work under pressure: You have experience of running a 24/7 department, responsible for the sports p&l of the company, and possess the ability to make calm decisions in real time, that are fair to the customer but also right for the company.
• Flexibility: You understand that, by nature, this isn’t a “office hours” role and you possess the ability and durability to stay dialled in, whilst also building a structure of capable people, to whom you can delegate appropriate responsibilities and tasks

¿Qué valoramos de tu candidatura?

• Tu nivel de inglés es C1.

About You

• Develop and cultivate deep relationships with senior management at clients' Business Unit Head and C-level to upsell new solutions and to seek better revenue / margin realization
• Identify and understand trends within client departments, the overall industry and competition
• Proactively provide smart client research and industry specific information
• Pipeline and Revenue management / forecasting on a regular basis (weekly, monthly and quarterly)
• Effectively collaborate with internal and external customers on business-related support activities, e.g. design and implementation of differentiated and profitable solutions, troubleshooting/Issue resolution
• Act as a Brand Ambassador and represent the company at community events and other business-related meetings, promoting the company products and services
• Attracting, developing and retaining Rockstar talent to support local commercial operations once the business has grown sufficiently
  
  
  

• Proven track record of Business Development experience, ideally within a Digital Content/Technology, Information Service Provider or Mobile Digital Entertainment/Payments organization
• Excellent network of contacts within the Telecom Operator landscape across Europe especially Germany, France, Spain and the UK
• Background in digital technologies, Video, Games, payments or programmatic platforms would be additional benefit
• Strong communication skills with a client-centric approach to solution-selling and ability to influence and articulate a value proposition based on client understanding of the business
• A proven track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and execution
• Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of revenue forecasting and managing P&L reporting
