About the location:
Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.
Key Responsabilities
- Actively pursues chances to create guest-centric experiences throughout all facets of the hotel.
- Assist in escorting all guests to their rooms in accordance with their requests and the Four Seasons standards.
- Assist the Managers with organizing the journey of our top VIPs, suite guests and Four Seasons Elite guests pre, during and post their stay.
- Update Golden Profiles of our guests with preferences.
- Assist the Guest Experience Manager and Assistant Managers by preparing and presenting the Operations Weekly meeting.
- Assist with responsibilities and duties in the presence of heavy volume in the areas of Front Office, concierge and Guest Services.
- Supervise the department monthly expenses, ensure all petty cash and other expenses are correctly recorded.
- Is highly knowledgeable of all hotel and facility information, hours of operation, key personnel, special activities, and functions in the hotel.
- Coordinates all reasonable services a guest may require and anticipates guest needs in order to provide prompt and efficient service.
- Acts, in the absence of senior management, in all matters concerning the safety, security and well-being of hotel guests.
- Actively contributes to enhanced working relationships among employees to promote and maximize morale, productivity and efficiency.
- Leads the on-boarding of new hires in the department: coordinates uniform, name tag, access to apps, welcome pack etc.
- Ensures the training of new hires is effectively done by supervising the process, gathering feedback and training when needed.
- Assists the managers, when not present, with the monthly invoicing of suppliers.
- Assists the managers, when not present, with their checklist. Otherwise, the Supervisor will follow the Guest Experience Agents checklist.
- Assists the managers with room inspections.
- Handle guest problems or complaints by understanding the problems with all aspects, notifying a manager, and following up the results personally, making sure to end the problems with 100% guest satisfaction.
- Support with any other tasks within the division and/or any tasks assigned by the management team
- Previous hospitality experience, preferably within Front Office/ Guest Experience.
- Must be able to stand for the scheduled shift.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and teamwork.
- Able to multitask and prioritize workload and projects simultaneously and efficiently.
