Job Description

Nabla Wind Hub is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to support the Operations department in data management.

Wind Power generates a huge amount of data that needs to be processed, so Nabla Wind Power is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join the staff and assist in the processing of wind turbine SCADA data. It will also be processing data from Nabla Wind Power's proprietary iSpin anemometer. There will be the opportunity to be part of R&D projects involving Nabla and involving wind data processing.

The candidate must have a background in database analysis, process automation and data visualisation tools, as well as a B2 level of English or higher.

The Junior Data Analyst will be based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.

Primary tasks

• Collect, clean and organise data from various sources (databases, CSV files, APIs).
• Analyse large volumes of data to extract relevant information.
• Collaborate with the Engineering department in obtaining data needed for analysis.
• Collaborate with the Operations department in the drafting of reports, process monitoring, and related tasks.
• Support in the automation of analysis processes by means of SQL, Python
• Documenting processes and methodologies used in the analysis.

Requirements

·        Essential:

o  Programming experience, preferably with Python.

o  Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

o  Ability to analyse and process data.

·        Desirable:

o  Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.

o  Experience in process automation.

o  Handling of data visualisation tools (Power BI, Matplotlib).

o  Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Firebase).

o  Level of English B2 or higher.
