Velto Renewables (Velto), a subsidiary of CDPQ (Caisse de Dépôt et Placement de Québec), is looking for a Junior Analyst - Valuations (intern) to join its team in Madrid, Velto and its subsidiaries currently hold a portfolio of operating solar PV assets of c. 200+ MW located in Spain and provides support to a 630 MW offshore wind farm in the UK. It is anticipated that Velto grows its investment and management portfolio to other technologies and geographies in the upcoming months.

We are looking for motivated students looking to start their professional career in renewable energy being part of a dynamic and to be involved in the global picture of the company. His/her main tasks would be to support the legal, financial, accounting, and general matters of:

• Asset management support for a solar and wind portfolio of over 300 MW.
• Corporate support.

Desired education and competencies

• Student of Bachelor’s and-or Master´s degree in relevant discipline (preferably in Business Administration or Economics with a major in applied finace);
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish;
• High proficiency use of Office, it is mandatory advanced skills using Excel;
• Desirable experience working with financial models;
• Graphic editor skills.
