Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, particularly in building and maintaining REST APIs. This role involves working on various components of our solution, including data ingestion, APIs, and streaming services. The developer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain REST APIs for both relational and non-relational databases.
2. Create and manage Python packages and modules for application functionality.
3. Handle various data formats such as Parquet and Delta to optimize data processing.
4. Expertise in Software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of APIs.
5. Write and execute unit test cases using pytest to ensure code quality and reliability.
6. Implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and integration.
7. Collaborate with database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases like CosmosDB.
8. Utilize popular Python frameworks such as Django and FastAPI to develop scalable web applications.
9. Ensure the robustness of APIs through continuous testing and improvement practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Python development.
2. Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs on top of both relational and non-relational databases.
3. Strong understanding of API testing, deployment, and maintenance.
4. Proficiency in using cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
5. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices for efficient deployment processes.
Preferred Skills:
1. Knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Databricks is a plus.
2. Experience with cloud technologies and services to enhance application scalability and performance.

Resumen
Buscamos a un/una persona motivada y proactiva para colaborar en el desarrollo e implementación del proyecto Europeo del área de sistemas del CESGA EGI-ACE (Plataforma de computación avanzada para la ciencia abierta y basada en datos). El principal objetivo de este proyecto es capacitar a los investigadores para que colaboren en investigaciones con uso intensivo de datos y computación a través de servicios de uso gratuito. Desde el CESGA llevamos participando en proyectos relacionados con la computación distribuida y cloud desde el año 2001 y estamos reconocidos a nivel internacional por nuestras contribuciones en este área. La función principal de la/el candidata/o será colaborar en el desarrollo del portal web encargado de las estadísticas de utilización de estos recursos computacionales entre todos los centros que participan en el proyecto.
Trabajarás integrado/a en un equipo multidisciplinar y motivador, con una gran experiencia en el área de servicios cloud, donde valoramos especialmente la iniciativa, la capacidad de trabajo en equipo y la búsqueda de soluciones creativas. Podrás aprender y contribuir al desarrollo del cloud para la ciencia abierta en Europa y sobre tecnologías avanzadas de administración de sistemas y programación.
Se ofrece un contrato temporal de aproximadamente 8 meses. Aunque breve, este contrato te permitirá involucrarte en esta línea de actividad, en la que el CESGA viene desarrollando proyectos complementarios y con gran proyección futura.
El CESGA es una fundación pública pionera a nivel nacional en el área de computación de altas prestaciones. El centro tiene unas condiciones laborales atractivas, comprometido con la promoción de la igualdad entre géneros, cuenta con un régimen de teletrabajo opcional de hasta el 50% del tiempo y permite flexibilizar la jornada de acuerdo con tus necesidades.
Requisitos Mínimos De El/la Candidato/a
- Licenciatura o Máster en Física, Informática, Matemáticas o Telecomunicaciones.
- Experiencia en programación con PHP, Python y Django en entorno Linux.
- Demostrar conocimientos de ingles Medio (equivalente a B1).
- Conocimiento de gallego, o compromiso de aprenderlo con nuestra ayuda y soporte.
- También se valorarán (pero no es obligatorio) otros requisitos adicionales, descritos en el Anexo B del documento BASES.
- Copia de la titulación requerida.
- Copia del expediente académico.
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Titulación Inglés nivel (en su defecto se hará prueba de nivel básico).

Back Market is looking for a Head Of Engineering to lead our customer care organization.
The Care team is responsible for delivering, integrating, and maintaining software to provide customers with a seamless and best-in-class care experience . Three engineering managers will directly report to you, each managing a cross-functional team of 6 to 8 engineers . The main users of our software are customers, sellers, and Back Market agents.
You will collaborate across teams and business functions in the company, which is key to ensuring that operations and engineering complement each other to deliver the best experience to the customer.
The core competencies of this role include mentoring and coaching people , cultivating a collaborative team , leading delivery, production operations, and continuous improvement. As in Back Market, we lead by example, we expect the role to also be hands-on , so personal contribution is expected.
You will manage teams distributed across our Paris office, Barcelona office or fully remote.
