Context
GTO (Global Trade Operations) is an entity within CIB ITO Global Banking Operations that serves Trade Finance operations on behalf of the Group.
Its scope of intervention is global, on all sites that propose to operate Trade Finance transactions, i.e., in Domestic Core Businesses (BCEF, Fortis, BGL, BNL) as in the CIB regions and Europe Mediterranée.
Within GTO, the Organisation team (Global Traditional Trade Organisation) carries out projects around process optimisation and create an operational structure for traditional trade products (Letters of Credit, International Guarantees).
As Project Manager – Global Traditional Trade Organisation, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.
You Are In Charge Of
- Coordinating internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensuring resource availability and allocation
- Developing a detailed project plan to track progress
- Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Reporting and escalating to your Management as needed
- Managing the relationship with the Sponsor and all stakeholders
- Performing risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- On the projects/studies for which you are responsible, you must in particular:
- carry out organisational and process analyses,
- Define and lead governance to ensure that Sponsors/Partners/Contributors are well informed, mobilised and alerted when necessary.
- Participating in team recruitment
You also contribute to
- continuously improving the organisation and processes by ensuring that Operational and Compliance risks are controlled,
- supporting operational teams in organisational changes and the introduction of new processes,
- good practice sharing,
- to transversal projects,
- the governance of GTO
Mandatory skills
As Project manager, you should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.
You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
you also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.

The Senior Finance Manager is a dynamic and strategic leader responsible for the end-to-end Invoice To Pay function within the best organization. This role goes beyond traditional accounts payable management, focusing on driving operational excellence, fostering strong relationships with finance partners and suppliers, and spearheading digital transformation initiatives. The Finance Manager leads a large team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while continuously seeking opportunities to optimize processes, leverage automation, and enhance the overall value delivered to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for the I2P function, aligning with broader organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Act as a change agent, identifying and driving opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation.
- Cultivate strong relationships with finance partners (Group, Zone & Country) and key suppliers, serving as a trusted advisor and problem-solver.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, proactively adapting the I2P strategy to maintain a competitive edge.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a large team of I2P professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

I2P Process Excellence:
- Oversee all aspects of the I2P lifecycle, from invoice receipt to payment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate risks, prevent fraud, and safeguard company assets.
- Proactively identify and resolve process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and compliance gaps.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and standardized processes across the I2P function.
Digital Transformation and Automation:
- Champion digital transformation initiatives, leveraging technologies such as Readsoft, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), Artificial Intelligence, and E-Invoicing.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, streamline workflows, and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to implement and optimize technology solutions.
- Monitor and analyze I2P KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. (e.g., Pay On time, Autoposting, OCR …)
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
- Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial reports for management, providing insights into I2P performance and trends.
- Collaborate with the R2R, Treasury, and Internal Audit teams to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Manage internal and external I2P audits, ensuring a smooth and successful audit process.
¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Extensive experience (minimum 6 years) in managing finance teams, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and leading transformation initiatives.
- Great financial and business vision.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, preferably SAP.

¿Qué necesitas saber?
Si tienes al menos dos años de experiencia en las funciones descritas y formación técnica, te ofrecemos la posibilidad de que optes a una posición de Consultor/a Financial Analytics. Como tal, te brindaremos todos los recursos y conocimiento para que te conviertas en especialista en las tareas del proyecto que te serán asignadas, dando soporte al equipo, al Gerente de proyecto y aportando una visión crítica.
¿Qué perfil estamos buscando?
- Experiencia de al menos dos años en las funciones descritas.
- Formación: Graduados/as en Ingeniería Informática, Matemáticas, Estadística, Física, Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones, así como Dobles Grado que impliquen algunas de las anteriores.
- Valorable Postgrado/Master en Data Science/Big Data/Analytics
- Idiomas: nivel avanzado de inglés.
- Conocimientos avanzados en programación (SAS, SQL, VBA y otros lenguajes como R o Python).
- Se valorará experiencia previa en ámbitos relacionados con la innovación y el desarrollo en la gestión estratégica y analítica de procesos de riesgos, financieros, tecnológicos o de negocio.
