What you will do

You will be working collaboratively in a team that will guide and support you in the following activities:

• Understand the business needs, and map the existing service ecosystems and processes
• Organize and participate in user interviews, analysing the information and synthetizing it
• Plan and conduct workshops for idea generation
• Generate ideas, and propose solutions
• Participate actively in the conceptualization and prototyping
• Plan and conduct the user tests, summarizing the results in a structured report
• Support the implementation of the global innovation process and current and new initiatives

Requirements

• Solid knowledge in innovation, design research and service design, and methodologies such as design thinking, design sprints, among others
• High skills in the craft to create artifacts and maps such as archetypes, user journeys and service blueprints
• Structured and organized mindset to plan, conduct, realise user research, and deliver high quality reports
• Experience / ability to facilitate workshops
• Hands-on experience working with collaborative tools like Miro, Mural or FigJam and familiar with Figma
• Ability to share, present and expose in front of a diverse and multicultural team

Education

• Degree in Design and Innovation, Product and Service Design
• A master’s degree in Product and Service Design, User Experience and Interaction Design (UX/UI), Research for Design and Innovation, Innovation and Design Thinking, is an advantage

Job Description

As a Human Factors Specialist at IDIADA, you will be part of a specialised team working to develop user-centred solutions for automotive products and for the mobility industry.

You will perform various R&D activities across automotive mobility and work on multiple projects defining the future of automated driving and intelligent transport solutions. This has a scope throughout the development process - covering research around users, product and system user requirement definition, human-centred concept generation, and user testing for validation / verification.

Your main duties

• Application of Human Factors and Ergonomics at all phases of development, from concept definition through to design and testing
• Planning and execution of formative and summative user-centred research studies into areas such as: human behaviour, cognitive performance, physiological condition, user comfort and experience, usability
• Application of qualitative and quantitative user testing methods in simulated and real-world environments
• Design of human factors methods and techniques applicable to the development of future vehicles and other transport solutions
• Creation of user level specifications of products and systems based upon insights from studies around human needs
• Development and implementation of extensive evaluation programmes for testing of user interactions with autonomous driving systems
• Collaborating with clients and partners for work on multi-stakeholder projects

Reporting to the Product Manager, you will be involved in On-Board Emissions & Fuel Economy team of Powertrain Department for all kind of vehicle technologies: ICE, PHEV, HEV, EV and FCEV. The activities to be carried out will consist in complete vehicle testing and analysis in the field of on-board emissions and fuel & energy consumption, mainly in Heavy Duty vehicles (but also in Light Duty vehicles), as well as managing and reporting the related activities of those projects. Actualmente estamos buscando un/a Junior Project Engineer, que reportando a los Project Manager de la división tendrá como misión principal participar activamente los diferentes proyectos, en cada una de sus fases, aportando un valor diferencial al cliente.

Entre sus funciones principales destacan el soporte a los Project Manager en las siguientes actividades:

• Contacto y evaluación de los diferentes proveedores: plantas industriales, distribuidores logísticos, etc.
• Control de calidad en origen: supervisión de los trabajos de control de calidad en fábrica de los diferentes componentes y equipo: módulos PV, transformadores, inversores, sistemas de almacenamiento entre otros.
