DescriptionWe are looking for a staff associate to join our established and growing ministries in Catalonia, Spain.

You would join a team of Spanish-Catalan speaking volunteer leaders and staff in Catalonia to help grow the ministry.

Using English as one of the most important tools to do contact work with young people, your gifts and talents will be evaluated to determine which potential growing areas of Catalonia you would be placed in.

There are many opportunities to meet young people in high schools in the Banyoles Youth Center or using other creative ways to reach youth in Barcelona.

If you are fluent in Spanish and are looking to be part of reaching teenagers and making an impact on their lives, this is the opportunity for you!ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate spiritual leadership on a personal and professional level.Actively participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community and local church.Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners and camping to other leaders.Learn to recruit, train, disciple and develop volunteer leaders.Participate in dynamic direct ministry with Spanish-Catalan teenagers (in Spanish and in English).Participate in staff and training events (in Spanish and in English).Raise 100% of financial support per individual budget and maintain good donor care practices.Communicate ministry updates and progress to personal donor partners.Maintain accurate information on kids, leaders and donors for area records.Participate in staff events and training events as required.QualificationsYoung Life volunteer leader experience required; Young Life team leader experience preferred.Ability to adapt and thrive in a multicultural, multilingual environment.Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.Demonstrated fluency in Spanish.Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Three-year minimum commitment.How To ApplyTo better help us serve you in your inquiry process, please take a moment to fill out the International Inquiry Form available via the button below.Questions about International?
