Join Our Team as a Trainee Spanish Speaking Artist Agent!

At Advocate Art we are looking for a person for the role of a Trainee Spanish Speaking Artist Agent, who is native or bilingual in Spanish and English, to join our dynamic team of 40 across the US, UK, Spain and Singapore.

We offer a comprehensive training package which covers social media marketing, artist briefing and development, project management, creative trend awareness and sales training. You will be using all of those skills and more as an Advocate agent!

This role is fully remote - which means you can work from home, or anywhere, but we are looking for an individual based in Spain. Currently, we have base offices in the US, UK, Spain and Singapore where our teams meet casually.

An Illustration Agent is the middle person between illustrators and clients so you work with the Advocate artists to develop & create marketable / saleable work, make the connection between artist and client, and ensure everything works out during the project. There is an existing group of clients that you will look after following training, and there is a degree of new business development. In a nutshell, it's a creative sales role.

The Trainee Illustration Agent's starting salary is €35K with OTE $50K depending on experience and after training.

We offer full training in a casual virtual environment. Expenses are paid to travel - World Wide, London, Italy etc. or if you need a face-to-face meet up. Working hours for this position is Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. with an early leave on Friday, but you have flexibility since you are no longer expected to report to a physical office.

Interviews will be held on Skype on an ongoing basis.

Candidates who meet the following requirements should apply.

- Fluent speaking in English and Spanish

- An interest in art and illustration that extends to formal education

- Creative - a good eye

- Good communicator, able to rebut, sell, empathize and negotiate

- Multi-task individually or as part of a team

- Be comfortable travelling alone and possibly over multiple weekends

- Mac and social media savvy

- Organised to a diagnosable level

- Generally brilliant and making things happen on your own
