Offer DescriptionIdipAZ seeks Degree in Health Sciences and a Master in Genetics to join the Personalised Medicine research project PMP22 UNICAS funded by the ISCIII and directed by Dr. Julián Nevado.

The IdiPAZ Health Research Institute is the result of a partnership between the Hospital Universitario La Paz, the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, the Healthcare Advisory Council of the Community of Madrid, and the Foundation for Biomedical Research of Hospital Universitario La Paz.

This strategic alliance has made it possible to tackle research projects through joint multidisciplinary teams belonging to these institutions.

Requirements

Performing phenotypic data extraction from patients and standardisation through HPO-like ontologies.Sequencing and patient analysis of whole genome use cases for the pilot study and performing phenotype-genotype correlation.Preparation of results, publication of results and presentation at seminars.Participation in the creation of patient clinical data standardisation forms for EHR.Requirements:

Degree in Health Sciences.Master's degree in Genetics.Experience in clinical genetics, genetic counselling.Experience in the generation of genomic databases (CNVs, SNVs).Previous experience in research centres or similar is highly valued.High level of written and spoken English.Demonstrable experience in writing scientific articles.

Authorship as first author of scientific articles will be highly valued.Doctorate degree will be valued.PhD degree would be an asset.Languages:

Additional InformationIndefinite-term employment contract for scientific and technical activities.Professional category of Assistant Researcher, Group II, Area 2, according to the collective bargaining agreement.Full time of 37.5 hours per week.Gross annual salary: €27,700Private matters: 6 working days per year.Vacation: 22 working days per year.December 24 and 31 are non-business days.Selection ProcessThe selection process will consist of two phases and the following scale will be applied, out of a maximum of 10 points:
