About the location:

Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide guests with information about accommodations, rates, and available services.
  • Confirm, modify, or cancel reservations as needed while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings and ensure the reservation system is updated promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest requests and preferences are communicated and met.
  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally and promptly, ensuring a courteous approach and consistently meeting Four Seasons’ quality standards.
  • Carry out all administrative tasks related to the switchboard, providing accurate information, updating records, and efficiently addressing caller inquiries.
  • Provide comprehensive support in all relevant PBX tasks, ensuring smooth communication flow and alignment with service standards.

Our Ideal Reservations Agent Candidate Will Have

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate with customers and provide a friendly, professional experience.
  • Experience in Reservations: Prior experience in hotel reservations or similar customer service roles, understanding booking procedures and systems.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Proficient in verbal and written communication, able to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in entering and managing reservation details, ensuring that all information is correct.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle and resolve guest inquiries and issues efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of Hotel Operations: Familiarity with hotel services, amenities, and policies to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Multitasking Abilities: Capable of managing multiple phone calls and emails while maintaining a high level of service.
  • Proficiency with Technology: Experience with property management systems (PMS) and other booking software, along with basic computer skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage reservations and documentation effectively.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and coordination.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness and respect for diverse cultures and backgrounds, ensuring all guests feel welcome.
  • Sales Skills: Ability to upsell services, room upgrades, and packages to enhance guest experiences and revenue.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Positive Attitude: A friendly, positive demeanor that contributes to a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Adaptability: Ability to handle high-pressure situations and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.

Degree: Professional /Technician

Languages: Spanish / English

Language Ability: High

Language Proficiency: Fluent

Must have the legal right to work in Spain and have fluency in English and Spanish.
