What’s the internship?
As Marketing intern you’ll be supporting the department in all required areas.
You’ll be supervised by our General Manager, working closely with our marketing supplier.
Your day-to-day
Including but not limited to the following:
• Generate content and help manage social media channels in alignment with brand voice.
• Support our marketing supplier in its different activities, such as the creation of various promotional collaterals, identification of photo/video needs and support in production, PR and advertising actions, support the execution of marketing campaigns, webmastering of the hotel’s websites.
• Support our marketing supplier in its collaboration with the other departments.
• Benchmark and market analysis. Analyze the performance of our online presence on the
different channels and translate it into meaningful insights, conduct regular competitor surveillance and provide feedback from social media monitoring.
• Track and analyze success of digital marketing campaigns based on KPIs and goals.
• Involved with weekly Sales & Marketing meetings.
Others:
• Follow all Marriott International policies and procedures; ensure personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach
common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other associates.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Superiors.
What We Need From You
• Currently studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, hospitality or related field.
• Ideal candidate will have previous hotel knowledge and experience in marketing.
• Signed internship agreement from your school or University.
• Valid documents to complete your internship in Spain.
• Must be fluent in English. Spanish is a must and any other language a plus.
• Proactive, strong organization skills, positive, dynamic, emphatic, team-worker.
