What You Will Do

• Reception, qualification, and prioritization of incidents, questions, and service requests
• Handling disruptions in Onsite Support (including user contact)
• Advising users on questions about our DWS platform
• Support in the staging process

What You Bring

• Completed training in the IT field
• Confident handling of MS Office, ticket systems, Windows, and mobile devices (iOS and Android)
• Ability to work reliably, self-organized, and flexibly in a fast-paced environment with high customer and service orientation
• Willingness to work outside of normal working hours and on bank holidays (this is economically compensated)
• In addition to Spanish, good knowledge of English. Some German knowdledge will be highly valued

Job Description

• Are you passionate about designing innovative and scalable data solutions? At SIX, we are looking for a talented Data Architect with expertise in Cloudera to lead the creation and optimization of our data architectures, driving key projects and enabling data-driven decision-making.
• This is a unique opportunity to lead our data infrastructure using Cloudera´s cutting-edge tools and technologies.
  
  

• Design and architect end-to-end solutions leveraging the Cloudera platform, including CDP, CDH, or HDP
• Develop and implement distributed data processing applications using tools such as Spark, Hive, Impala, and Kafka
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for data integration and advanced analytics
• Ensure best practices in data security, performance, and quality
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on leveraging Cloudera tools and technologies effectively
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and proven experience working with Cloudera technologies (CDP, CDH, or HDP)
• Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem tools such as Hive, Kudu, Spark, HBase, Kafka, and YARN
• Strong programming skills in Scala and experience in Apache Spark development
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and distributed computing
• Solid understanding of Data Security, including Kerberos authentication and role-based access control
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills (in English and Spanish), with the ability to work across technical and business teams effectively
