Position Title: Plant Controller
Position Reporting to: Operations Controller & Plant Manager (LifeStyles)
Region: EMEA
Location: Madrid, Spain (Plant)
Position Overview:
The Plant Controller is a key player of the plant leadership team. Contributes to all areas of plant management and provides strong financial leadership for business decisions. The Plant Controller is responsible for both management and financial reporting and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies and practices. The incumbent will provide financial direction to the plant management team and provide recommendations to improve site performance.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Responsible for all general accounting activities related to the plant. Set up accounting processes for the newly acquired plant around Madrid in line with Lifestyles polices and best practices of other Lifestyles plants.
- Responsible for Manufacturing and R&D accounting, financial reporting, and analysis, and ensure the results are a materially correct reflection of plant performance.
- Drive integration of newly acquired plant in Spain into Lifestyles group.
- Drive implementation of the ERP (MS Dynamics 365), data transfer from current ERP (SAP) used during transition period.
- Support the year-end external audit and internal audit process.
- Develop and manage the annual budget and quarterly forecast in coordination with plant management and corporate finance.
- Calculate standard cost per item during budget cycle and for new products during the year.
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register.
- Conduct regular inventory analysis and support efforts to reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
- Prepare business cases for capital expenditure.
- Business Partner to the Plant’s General Manager and the Plant Management in identifying efficiency improvement initiatives, cost reduction opportunities, risk analysis, interpretation of financial results and KPIs.
- Proactively work with regional management to reduce working capital. Focus on reducing inventory levels, bad stock provision, excess and obsolete items.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local statutory requirements, and US GAAP.
- Ensure all month-end reports regional and corporate reporting are delivered timely and accurately.
- Ensure various general ledger accounts are reconciled and ensure all balances are identifiable and cleared on a timely basis.
- Suggest and implement Lean ideas in financial as well as plant management processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
- 7+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Languages: Fluent in English & Spanish, Italian is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Experience with ERP systems and Business intelligence tools. MS Dynamics 365 is a plus.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Experience in handling multiple concurrent tasks and meeting strict deadlines for month close, forecasting and budgeting cycles.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries from the business.

Job Summary:
This role is crucial for ensuring seamless operations in Supply Chain management and international trade, with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and strategic collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Support with National and International Shipments:
- Freight quotation management.
- Monitoring of purchase orders for critical raw materials, foiled condoms, toys, and lubricants.
Inventory Control and Logistics Coordination:
- Assisting with inventory management and overseeing logistics operations within the warehouse.
Administrative Management:
- Handling invoicing reconciliation, documentation, reports, files, and records.
Compliance with Legal Obligations:
- Managing tax-related responsibilities, including plastic taxes and other applicable taxes.
Skills required:
Knowledge in International Trade (Import/Export):

Education and knowledge:
Language Skills:

Advanced Excel:

- Strong ability to analyze large data sets for supply chain optimization.
Dynamics 365 (D365):

Experience:
