Our Chicago location, to date, is our largest center in terms of capacity, spanning an impressive 1800 square meters. It is housed in a historic 1902 factory building in River West, near the West Loop. This stunning space has been lovingly restored and transformed, bringing its history back to life as part of the magical AIRE atmosphere.

The Role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Chicago bathhouse. You will collaborate closely with the Site Director to foster a positive work environment for the team and deliver an exceptional AIRE experience to our clients. You’ll also ensure that policies, procedures, and service standards are implemented and followed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the leader and operational manager for department heads, providing guidance in operations, leadership development, and fostering a results-driven culture.
  • Implement approved corporate policies and procedures.
  • Review daily reports and make data-driven decisions.
  • Manage operational supplies and vendor relationships.
  • Oversee inventory and manage the allocated budget.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols aligned with corporate standards.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire, and other legal standards at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Lead regular team and department head meetings.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture by supporting and holding departments accountable.
  • Enhance employee engagement through recognition, well-being initiatives, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Foster a culture of outstanding customer service by addressing complaints, tracking satisfaction surveys, and driving continuous improvement.

Who You Are

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality management, tourism, business administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as Head of Operations or a similar role within luxury, wellness, fitness, or hospitality environments.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience leading and managing teams across multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in team development, including delivering constructive feedback, driving performance, and leading organizational change initiatives.
  • Strong ability to analyze operational reports and make strategic, data-informed decisions to improve performance.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing customer satisfaction tools, creating actionable insights, and implementing effective improvement plans.
  • Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills, combined with a creative and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Highly reliable, punctual, and adaptable, with the flexibility to adjust schedules based on business needs.
