As a Tech Lead - Branch Manager Cloud Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud network infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of security and performance. What you will do:

• Ensure the stable operation of the production environment by monitoring availability and system health.
• Design scalable and reliable cloud network architectures using Azure services.
• Develop automation scripts and templates to provision, configure, and manage cloud network resources.
• Set up monitoring tools to track network performance, availability, and costs.
• Optimize network resources for efficient use and cost-effectiveness.
• Review logs and analyze network traffic to identify and mitigate security threats.
• Configure virtual networks, subnets, routing tables, security groups, and ACLs in the cloud environment.
• Implement security best practices, including encryption, IAM, firewalls, and IDS.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application development teams to align network infrastructure with business objectives.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, such as firewall breaches and network intrusions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of cloud network and firewall policies and incident response procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud networking.
  
  
  

What you bring & who you are:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience in larger and complex IT environments.
• Strong understanding of Azure's cloud platform and networking services.
• Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Knowledge of network security principles and technologies (firewalls, encryption, IDS/IPS, IAM).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Ability to use network monitoring tools and troubleshoot network-related issues.
• Relevant certifications (Azure Networking Engineer, CCNP) are a plus.
• Aptitude for troubleshooting complex firewall and network security issues.
• Experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF), proxy solutions, and SASE.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in English; German is preferred but not essential.
• Willingness for occasional work on weekends, outside office hours, and on-call duty.
