With seven locations in Madrid, Rome, Barcelona, Budapest, Vienna, Copenhagen, and Berlin, we are rapidly expanding, so you’ll find IKONO in the heart of major cities across Europe (and beyond).

YOUR MISSION

The IKONO Creative Copywriter is a key contributor to the development and execution of compelling, brand-aligned campaigns that engage and resonate with our audience. This role is responsible for refining and maintaining consistent, impactful messaging across all platforms, from on-site materials in our venues to digital assets, including SEO-driven content, social media, and marketing collateral. Additionally, the copywriter will collaborate with internal teams and localization providers to ensure brand messaging is adapted for each market, aligning with IKONO’s global strategy. This position requires a strategic, detail-oriented communicator who can enhance the brand’s voice while supporting marketing and communications efforts.

What You’ll Do

Support the ideation and development of campaigns

  • Collaborate with all the marketing verticals to generate creative concepts that align with both brand and business objectives, always in a global-to-local approach.
  • Contribute to campaign development to engage target audiences across diverse channels.


Oversee and continuously improve brand messaging and storytelling

  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all communication channels.
  • Regularly assess and refine storytelling to enhance brand impact both offline and online.


Support Digital Marketing team with creating SEO-oriented assets

  • Write optimized content for landing pages, blog posts, newsletter and digital ads that improve search visibility and drive engagement and sales.
  • Integrate SEO best practices to boost organic reach and ensure content aligns with the brand.


Support SoMe & Content team with copywriting and maintaining the ToV

  • Craft compelling social media captions and content that reflect the brand’s personality and voice.
  • Maintain consistency in tone of voice across all content, ensuring it resonates with diverse audiences.


Support PR & Comms team with press releases, interviews, and internal communications

  • Develop clear and engaging press releases and media materials that highlight key brand initiatives.
  • Assist with internal communications to ensure cohesive messaging across the organization.


Collaborate with local teams and localization providers

  • Adapt brand messaging for different markets, ensuring cultural relevance and alignment of ToV.
  • Recruit and manage localization providers to for the generation and update of key local messages.

YOU BRING

  • Languages:


English – Bilingual/Native proficiency is essential.

Fluency in additional languages is a plus.

  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • SEO awareness: keywords, copies, meta-information and alt tags.
  • Research abilities: keywords, trends, etc.
  • Experience in content marketing.
  • Thorough editing and proofreading.
  • Knowledge of UX principles.
  • Ability to organize information effectively.
  • Adaptability across different touchpoints and markets.
  • Basic HTML markup knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency with WordPress or other CMS platforms is a plus.
