We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who brings strong backend and distributed systems experience to join our Cross-Product Query (XPQ) organization. - Background in databases or query systems is a plus, but not required

Responsabilidades
The Breast Cancer Clinical Research Group is a translational research group lead by the oncologist and physician scientist Miguel Quintela-Fandino. Our main research lines are drug development, translational phosphoproteomics, functional taxonomy and high-definition oncology. In this latter field we are currently working towards the construction of a patient-digital twin. Here, we are trying to gather the influence of patient habits, mood, activity, remote physiologic monitoring, multi-omics and dietary intakes in clinical outcomes and patient-reported outcomes. We are looking for a talented scientist with multidisciplinary background to spearhead this latter outcomes: we will conduct a clinical trial in women with female cancers receiving antibody-drug conjugates and they will be randomized to standard mediterranean diet or a highly personalized precision therapeutic diet. WE aim to demonstrate the impact of the tailored diet in the metabolome and microbiome, and , above all, in general efficacy outcomes and treatment safety. Patients will have their vitals remotely monitored 24/7 as well as interstitial glucose, on top of being provided with an App to enter patient-reported outcomes. In addition, they will be serially sampled to assess the impact of diet in the different omics. Thus, we are looking for a scientist with proven experience in translational oncology, biocomputation and cancer metabolism eager to engage in a transformative research line, determining the impact of diet in clinical outcomes from a state-of-the-art scientific perspective.
