Bridge for Billions, recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30, Ashoka, and Acumen, has worked with more than 100 organizations such as Coca-Cola, Novartis, VISA, and institutions such as the United Nations or IDB Lab in the development of large-scale entrepreneurship programs. In 8 years, Bridge has grown to a team of more than 50 people from nearly 25 nationalities, with headquarters in Madrid, where most of our team is based; an emerging LatAm HQ in Antigua, Guatemala, with a few team members; and a few people based in different places around the world.
JOB MISSION
As Head of Programs at Bridge for Billions, you’ll lead and empower the Programs team, ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision while driving impactful program execution. You will provide strategic guidance, foster team growth, and manage resources to deliver high-impact, client-centric, profitable programs. Your goal is to support the team in understanding the value we offer to clients, promote effective cross-departmental collaboration, and drive continuous improvement through innovative program design and delivery. Additionally, you will play a key role in shaping the company's future direction by strengthening Bridge for Billions’ market position, enhancing financial sustainability, and increasing social impact globally.
ROLES & CONTRIBUTIONS
Strategy Guardianship:
- Collaborate with other area heads to make strategic and tactical decisions that will shape the future of Bridge for Billions
- Engage in C-level discussions to help guide the company’s long-term vision and ensure that key decisions align with our broader organizational goals.
- Regularly report and create program KPIs and proactively resolve pressing issues.
Team Leadership:
- Oversee the largest area of the company (25 people and growing).
- Help recruit new Program Directors or Program Managers.
- Directly lead and coach Program Directors (PDs), fostering a performance culture and building leadership capacity within the team to ensure long-term program success.
- Focus efforts on resource allocation, predicting and managing the necessary capacity to execute our programs effectively. This includes anticipating resource needs and ensuring that the team is adequately prepared to deliver high-quality results.
Strategic Execution:
- Ensure that the Programs team understands Bridge for Billions' vision and the value we offer and can effectively communicate this to clients.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning in our programs and propose new services.
Program Execution:
- Oversee program execution to ensure that financial aspects align with program goals.
- Own financial performance of the program's portfolio by guiding Program Directors and Managers in budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing resource allocation to maximize program profitability.
- Develop and implement programmatic frameworks, guidelines, and best practices to enhance program quality and impact.
- Interact directly with clients or donors when necessary, especially for complex requests or situations where Program Directors need support.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Product team to co-create a product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the needs of clients, entrepreneurs, mentors, and ESOs.
- Strengthen collaboration between sales and program teams to enhance program sustainability, ensuring proposals are technically feasible and profitable.
- Promote a learning culture by ensuring insights from program evaluations are integrated into future program design and delivery.

- Bilingual: Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, financial forecasting, and profitability analysis to ensure that programs are financially sustainable.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficiency in using data and KPIs to monitor program performance, track progress, and make informed decisions.
- Strategic Planning: Ability to align operational goals with broader organizational strategy and continuously adapt to evolving market conditions.
- Change Management: Understanding of how to implement new processes and drive cultural change within teams and across the organization.
- Leadership & Team Building: Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and guide a diverse team. Ability to foster a culture of growth and collaboration.
- Mentorship & Coaching: Ability to guide the professional growth of Program Directors (PDs) and team members through structured feedback, growth conversations, and ongoing support.

OFFER AND LOCATION
Transparent salaries and fair compensation structure, mid-range for the social sector:
- Compensation: Annual salary ranging from €53,000 - €58,000
- Benefits Package: Includes health insurance through Alan and a flexible benefits program with Cobee, which covers expenses from meals to childcare and training.
