Offer Description The assistant will join the GEISER Research Group (Electronic Engineering applied to Renewable Energies) at UAH for training in virtual power plants (VPP) applied to the novel local flexibility markets proposed by OMIE.

Emphasis will be placed on the design, implementation, and simulation of digital power grids for efficient integration of distributed generation supported by storage, with the objective of avoiding congestion in distribution networks.

The assistant will collaborate in several projects with companies such as Iberdrola, Siemens Gamesa, Repsol, Smarkia, ITER, Mytra, etc.
