About the role:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and generating qualified leads for the sales team. This individual will focus on outbound prospecting, nurturing relationships with potential clients, and setting appointments for Account Executives. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and has strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients through various channels (e.g., LinkedIn, email campaigns, phone calls).
- Lead Generation: Initiate outbound contact with potential clients to understand their business needs and identify sales opportunities.
- Qualify Leads: Engage with prospects to assess their needs, pain points, and fit for Tatewise's products/services.
- Relationship Building: Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on targeting strategies and messaging.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to refine outreach efforts.
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed targets for outreach, qualified leads, and conversion rates.
- Previous BDR experience is a must.
- Background in the culinary world is a plus.
- Native English Speaker.
- Experience with cold calling, email marketing, or social selling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle rejection and persist through challenges.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
