Agapi Boat Club is seeking a proactive and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the daily operations of our boat fleet, harbour, and customer-related activities in Mallorca.
This role encompasses the daily management of Agapi's Membership and Charter services.
The Fleet Manager will ensure the smooth operation of our docks, the upkeep of boats, and the adherence to Agapi's high-quality standards at all times.
Key responsibilities include: Fleet and Harbour Management: Ensure all boats are properly maintained and dock space is efficiently organized in line with Agapi's standards.
Oversee maintenance schedules, engine services, winter storage, and repairs.Compliance and Safety: Help to manage boat-related regulations, ensuring that all vessels in the fleet comply with local nautical laws, insurance requirements, and have the correct charter licenses and safety equipment.Customer Service and Support: Provide excellent customer service by performing onboarding, offering training sessions, and leading demo trips for existing and potential members.
Handle customer inquiries both in person, via phone, and email.Collaboration and Reporting: Foster strong relationships with boat supply partners and report directly to the Head of Operations.
Represent the Mallorca team in internal meetings, providing updates on operational matters.Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations efficiently, ensuring all activities align with Agapi's quality standards and Key Performance Indicators.The ideal candidate will possess: A valid boating license and proven experience in the marine industry.Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.A high level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring all boats and operations run smoothly.An excellent understanding of local nautical regulations and industry standards.Proficiency in computer systems and Agapi's operational software.Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to engage with members professionally.The ability to adapt to a variety of situations with a can-do attitude.This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and may require weekend and holiday shifts.The position will be either part-time or full-time, depending on the size of the fleet.Candidates must live in Mallorca, hold a valid residence permit, and comply with Spanish labour regulations.Full training will be provided by Agapi HQ to ensure you're equipped with the tools and knowledge to succeed in this role.
