About this opportunity:
Within Cognitive Software Engineering, we offer the opportunity to collaborate with highly qualified teams and to enable success stories for our customers. We are seeking a passionate and creative UX Specialist Intern to join our team and help us continue to design intuitive and engaging user experiences for our customers.
As a UX Specialist Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced UX designers, researchers, and developers to contribute to the design and enhancement of our digital products. This internship offers hands-on experience in a collaborative environment and allows you to gain valuable skills in UX design and research.
What you will do:
- Assist in conducting user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights into user needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with the UX team to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions.
- Support the development of user personas and journey maps to inform design decisions and improve user engagement.
- Help analyze and synthesize research findings to provide actionable recommendations for enhancing user experience.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the product design.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing, to ensure a cohesive user experience across all touchpoints.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team.
- Currently pursuing a degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of UX design principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design ideas and concepts.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A portfolio demonstrating an understanding of the UX design process is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
