Tu "inclinación" a C# implica que no solo mantienes, sino que construyes lo nuevo o creas los conectores entre ambos mundos.
- Desarrollo de Microservicios: Crear APIs en C# que consuman o expongan datos del Mainframe, permitiendo que aplicaciones modernas interactúen con el legado.
- Refactorización de Lógica: Traducir procedimientos almacenados o lógica de programas COBOL a clases y métodos en C#, manteniendo la equivalencia funcional.
- Interoperabilidad: Implementar soluciones de middleware o colas de mensajería (como RabbitMQ o IBM MQ) para comunicar el entorno COBOL con aplicaciones .NET.

- Diseño de Arquitecturas Híbridas: Definir cómo convivirán ambos lenguajes durante la transición (coexistencia).
- Documentación Técnica: Crear diagramas de flujo y mapas de datos que expliquen la relación entre el código COBOL antiguo y los nuevos módulos en C#.
- Pruebas de Regresión: Diseñar planes de prueba para garantizar que la migración a C# no altere los resultados financieros o de negocio originales.

This position is open to individuals with an outstanding track record of excellence and growth—whether or not they’ve previously held an engineering-lead role. Excellent references from reputable professionals will be essential. After an intensive training period of six to twelve months, if your performance warrants it, you may take on a technical leadership role—either as the sole leader or co-leader—of a business unit generating revenue in the tens of millions of dollars at a minimum, with the potential to increase your level of responsibility to the hundreds of millions over time. You’ll report directly to our CTO.

Competitive pay and access to equity in the company. For a candidate that we assess as possessing considerable relevant experience, the annual salary on offer tends to be between £151,436 and £250,512 in London, and €145,430 and €240,330 elsewhere in Europe. Compensation varies by location and expected impact, and grows rapidly as you gain experience and translate it into greater contributions. For individuals who demonstrate exceptional capability, we may offer compensation that extends beyond the usual ranges to reflect their higher expected impact. If you're offered a permanent contract, you'll also be able receive some of your pay in company equity at a discounted price, thus participating in the value creation we achieve together. If relocating to Italy, you may enjoy a 50% tax cut.

Tareas

● Queremos hacer mas robusta, elegante y fácil de usar toda nuestra plataforma, pero hacerlo de forma ordenada. Una función principal será el mantenimiento de nuestra APP potenciando su robustez para escalar el numero de usuarios rápidamente.● Crear una arquitectura de nuevos microservicios para componentes nuevos a desplegar en próximos meses.● Desarrollar el software de nuevos bioindicadores del sueño y su dashboard con gráficas atractivas para los usuarios así como su gestión en nuestra base de datos.● Desarrollar con terceros la integración de datos con wearables externos e integrar dichos datos en nuestra base de datos.● Desarrollar con terceros la implantación en la plataforma de un asistente virtual dentro de un ambicioso proyecto de I+D+i● Introducir en el equipo las mejores prácticas en cuanto a programación de microservicios, uso de principios SOLID y procesos de testing e integración continua.● Trabajar mano a mano con el resto del equipo: frontends, producto, CEO, etc para mejorar las características de la plataforma, detectar fallos de la arquitectura y colaborar con el diseño del mismo.
