As our new Expert in Accounting & Tax, you will join SoftwareOne’s team in Madrid, bringing your finance expertise to collections management, treasury operations, and banking relationships. You will ensure efficiency, control, and a customer-focused approach across all processes. You will work closely with the local Finance team while supporting and managing financial activities related to Portugal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collections & claim management: Proactively monitoring customer and group entity debt, resolving claims, negotiating solutions, and maintaining strong, customer-oriented relationships
- Relationship with financial institutions: bank reconciliations, statement management, and payment tracking with accuracy and reliability
- Management of guarantees and sureties: requesting, maintaining, and recovering guarantees, ensuring compliance and traceability
- Supervision of intercompany, supplier, and employee payments: efficient coordination and rigorous control of payment processes
- Monthly reporting & audit support: Preparation of cash flow forecasts, guarantee status, and banking reports, while actively supporting internal and external audits.
- Advanced use of tools: ERP systems, Excel, Power BI, and automated collection platforms
Job Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Solid experience in treasury and collections within international environments
- Advanced Excel skills and strong command of ERP systems
- Portuguese language on a professional/fluent or native level
- Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of credit KPIs such as DSO, bad debt ratio, and aging balances
- Familiarity with pre-dunning, friendly dunning, pre-litigation, and litigation processes

The Role:
As an essential member of the Business Development Team at Celonis, you will support and work alongside an diverse & international team Sales team. You will engage in account research as well as strategic prospecting with a heavy focus on cold calling.

- Ability to listen very well, be an excellent communicator
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills within a fast-paced sales environment
- Be curious and have a long-term interest in building a career in Sales
- Native (or equivalent) proficiency in Portuguese proficiency in English.
- For this role, you bring at least 6 months of full-time availability starting July/September 2026.
