🔧 El rol:
- Formarás parte del equipo de frontend y tendrás un impacto directo en cómo los administradores IT interactúan con la plataforma. Tu responsabilidad principal será diseñar y construir interfaces web modernas, intuitivas y escalables, capaces de simplificar flujos de trabajo técnicos y complejos.
No es un rol centrado únicamente en crear componentes, sino en pensar producto:

Looking for an internship where you actually learn something? At Club Canary, one of the top-rated tour companies in the Canary Islands, you’ll work on real projects in tourism, marketing and sales. No coffee-making internships here.
You’ll help travelers plan unforgettable experiences, work with our international team, and learn how a fast-growing tourism company operates from the inside. We are currently accepting internship applications for start dates between May 2026 and February 2027.
• You must be an enrolled university student with a valid internship agreement from your university.
• We do not assist with visas. You must already be able to legally travel and stay in Spain for your internship.
• When accepted, interns must complete online onboarding training before arriving in Tenerife.
• The training includes short exams in English to make sure everyone understands our systems and tourism operations.
Without a university agreement or legal ability to travel to Spain, we unfortunately cannot accept your application.

Responsibilities
CENTER OPERATIONS:
- Understand the center’s key KPIs and financials to make informed and responsible business decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with KidStrong families to align with our core values and provide exceptional customer service.
- Oversee center-level initiatives i.e. center maintenance, training, brand consistency, etc.
- Daily, Weekly, and Monthly cleaning and maintenance of the center
- The typical schedule includes 4 weekdays and 1-weekend shift with specific hours dependent on the needs of the center. This is not your typical 9 to 5!
- Manage the weekly coaching schedule & ensure shifts are covered daily.
- Schedule and sell KidStrong events such as camps and parties, to maximize center profitability.
- Support the centers social media presence with on-brand, organic posts, stories, reels. Respond timely to social media inquiries.
- Maintain flawless lead management by conducting call drives to new and existing leads in the Center’s CRM tool.
- Finalize sales and bookings that are generated through online self-sign-up flow.
- Source and attend local events to increase brand awareness, and drive incremental leads and memberships.
- Foster a coaching culture - see something, say something.
- The GM will be over the center's Assistant General Manager (AGM), along with the rest of the coaching team, which consists of 6 - 10 part-time coaches.
- Continuously assess and evaluate coaches based on the KidStrong Coach DNA profile and class quality.
- Recruit, screen, interview, onboard, manage, train, and coaching candidates as needed to ensure center is staffed.
- Manage and support the ongoing professional development of staff through LearnUpon, our online education resource.
- Lead monthly center level staff meetings focused on - development, productivity, programming, and product.
- Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack and Email, including periodic checks of messages when not in center.
- Attend weekly leadership meetings.
- Coach students by delivering an evolving curriculum that focuses on Brain, Physical, and Character development for ages ranging from walking to 11 years-old approximately as required by business demands.
- Understand the “why” behind the KidStrong curriculum and be able to clearly and concisely communicate it.
- Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various programming and curriculum elements.
- Must be able to work in a physically intensive environment - coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through class, lifting and repeatedly moving equipment up to 25 pounds in weight.
- Must be comfortable physically working with kids to ensure proper technique and ensure student safety.
- Approximately 5 - 10 coaching hours per week.
- An athletic and/or coaching background with experience working with or coaching kids ages 15 months - 11 years old. A passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
- Comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding a variety of topics.
- Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required.
- Previous experience in management is required.

- Support project’s improvement governance and contribute to the achievement of its improvement objectives.

- Produce Project History Report (yearly).

- Degree-level education in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Previous experience in leading projects or as a PMO Manager is desired
- PMP certification is highly desirable
- Experience in managing/working with a project schedule.
- Experience in managing risks and opportunities, either as a risk manager or a project member.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work across functions, and to influence and persuade program stakeholders amid conflicting priorities.
- Experience with typical office applications and generally well-versed in digital tools is desired
- Experience in standard scheduling tools (e.g., Unified Planning, MS Project, Primavera) is desired.
- Experience using risk and opportunity management tools.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?
El/la candidato/a seleccionado deberá cumplir los siguientes requisitos:
- +5 años en desarrollo profesional, con experiencia real en producción.
- PHP (incluido legado): comprensión de limitaciones, compatibilidad, y refactor seguro.
- Experiencia con frameworks como Laravel o Cake. y/o modernización de aplicaciones antiguas.
- MySQL 5: consultas complejas, performance, índices, troubleshooting.
- Control de versiones Git y flujo colaborativo (PRs, code review).
- Conocimientos sólidos de HTTP, APIs REST, sesiones, cookies, auth,CORS.
- Buen criterio de seguridad web: OWASP Top 10, gestión de secretos, sanitización, permisos.
- Capacidad de depuración: logs, error tracking, reproducción, análisis de causas raíz.
Muy valorables:
- Experiencia con CakePHP (1.x/2.x) o migraciones CakePHP →Laravel/Symfony o similar.
- Haber trabajado con CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins) y despliegues (SSH, containers).
- Docker para entornos reproducibles.
- Observabilidad: Sentry, ELK/Opensearch, Prometheus/Grafana (o similar).
- Frontend: JS "clásico" + nociones de frameworks (React/Vue) si haymódulos nuevos.
- Automatización/ETL: n8n, cron jobs robustos, colas (RabbitMQ/Redis) si aplica.
- Experiencia en migraciones de base de datos y diseño evolutivo.
