Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a PMO Manager within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Project Management Office in PAZ2 Project, playing a key role as a co-pilot to the Project Manager, proactively driving various project management processes. Responsibilities (shared with the rest of the PMO team):
- Maintain the Project Management Plan and ensure the program’s adherence to this plan.
- Manage the Project Management digital ecosystem to operate the program (e.g., Unified Planning, ADProjects, ARM, collaboration tools).
- Prepare and facilitate meetings and support preparation of milestones.
- Support the Project Manager in planning and preparing Maturity Gates.
- Maintain the program’s action register and drive the timely closure of actions.
- Coordinate preparation of reports in various formats for both internal and external customers.
- Ensure consistency among all contractual, financial, and technical requirements and coverage in the Project Management Plan (in close cooperation with the Project Controller, Customer Contract Manager, and Technical Manager).
- Maintain the program’s integrated plan in the appropriate toolset (e.g., Unified Planning), embedding inputs from all contributing stakeholders.
- Identify, track, and communicate the program’s critical path, proposing measures to shorten it.
- Track program progress and provide visualization and early warning of potential issues to allow for early mitigation, anticipation, and data-driven decisions.
- Act as the strategic interface between departments and functions, ensuring effective performance management and early warning for potential issues.
- Maintain the Risk and Opportunity (R&O) Management Plan of the program.
- Maintain the R&O register, including the facilitation of capture and assessment of risks and opportunities.
- Drive the definition and follow-up of R&O mitigation actions.
- Proactively seek out and implement improvements in your way of working, and in the overall execution of the program.
- Support project’s improvement governance and contribute to the achievement of its improvement objectives.
- Ensure consistency and integration between risk management, planning, and workload data, providing a unified and accurate view of project status and performance.
- Establish and maintain data governance processes to guarantee the reliability and coherence of information across different functions and systems.
- Produce Project History Report (yearly).
- Supervise overall Changes, to trigger CCN issue and build the relevant case.
- Interface with the S&OP process, to ensure consistency between the functions' needs and project budget.
- Degree-level education in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Previous experience in leading projects or as a PMO Manager required.
- Experience in managing/working with a project schedule.
- Experience in managing risks and opportunities, either as a risk manager or a project member,
- PMP certification is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work across functions, and to influence and persuade program stakeholders amid conflicting priorities.
- Experience with typical office applications and generally well-versed in digital tools (specially Jira, Confluence)
- Experience in standard scheduling tools (e.g., Unified Planning, MS Project, Primavera).
- Experience in using the Airbus tool for risk and opportunity management.
- Experience working in international teams and environments.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.

- Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener microservicios basados en Java y Spring Boot, garantizando escalabilidad, rendimiento y seguridad.
- Implementar y optimizar flujos de mensajería con Kafka, gestionando topics, producers, consumers y patrones de consumo avanzado.
- Desarrollar APIs REST siguiendo estándares OpenAPI (OAS3), asegurando consistencia, documentación y facilidad de integración.
- Modelar e interactuar con bases de datos relacionales y no relacionales, especialmente PostgreSQL, optimizando consultas y estructuras.
- Aplicar TDD o BDD para asegurar la calidad del software, creando test unitarios, de integración y comportamentales.
- Diseñar soluciones técnicas alineadas con la arquitectura global del sistema y las necesidades del proyecto.
- Participar activamente en las ceremonias Scrum: dailies, plannings, refinements y retros.
- Colaborar con el equipo de QA y arquitectura, asegurando buenas prácticas, código limpio y estándares comunes.
- Monitorizar y mejorar servicios en producción, identificando cuellos de botella, puntos de fallo y oportunidades de mejora.
- Aportar propuestas tecnológicas y participar en la modernización continua de la plataforma.
Qué esperamos de ti:
- Mínimo 5 años de experiencia.
- Experiencia con: Java 8 o superior, Spring Boot, Arquitectura de microservicios, PostgreSQL, Programación funcional, JPA / Hibernate, Testing TDD o BDD.
- Mínimo 5 años de experiencia con Kafka.
- Mínimo 7 años de experiencia con J2EE.
- Experiencia con herramientas de diseño de APIs (OAS3)
- Inglés B2
Requisitos valorables:
- Bases de datos: Oracle, MongoDB
- Mínimo 3 años de experiencia con API Designer
- Experiencia previa con CI/CD
- Conocimiento de Docker, Kubernetes u otras plataformas cloud
Localización

Mission
In support of our Account Leads, you will manage high-stakes advisory engagements with top-tier prospects and clients. Your goal is to position Malt as a core strategic partner within their workforce ecosystem. You will design innovative operating models, articulate clear ROI, and leverage ecosystem partnerships to help secure profitable and scalable Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
About The Role
- Discovery & Architecture: Lead intensive workshops with prospects to map their current procurement/HR landscapes and design a future-state "Operating Model" that integrates Malt seamlessly
- Business Case & ROI: Build sophisticated financial models to quantify the tangible value and efficiency gains of our solution for executive stakeholders
- RFP Leadership: Own the implementation methodology and solution narrative for major RFPs, ensuring our strategic value proposition is front and center
- Pilot Design: Scope and define strategic pilots, establishing the KPIs necessary to move from initial trial to full-scale enterprise deployment
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a consultant for our top clients, running Freelancer Maturity Assessments and designing comprehensive Change Management workshops
- Methodology Creation: Turn your "on-the-ground" client work into repeatable IP. You will build the frameworks, templates, and "packaged offers" that the rest of the team will use to scale
- Thought Leadership: Partner with the Marketing team to produce white papers and case studies that define Malt’s voice in the enterprise space
- Significant experience in Management Consulting, Strategic Account Management, or Enterprise Transformation (SaaS or HR-Tech preferred)
- Proven ability to redesign complex enterprise operating models and influence C-level strategy
- Proficiency in crafting executive narratives and financial models that drive deal conviction
- Experience designing scalable models with Managed Service Providers (MSP) and Vendor Management Systems (VMS)
- Strong skills in supporting strategic negotiations and aligning cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Product)
- Demonstrated success leading complex pilots, workshops, and multi-country transformation programs
- Fluent in English. Proficiency in French, German, Spanish, or Dutch is a plus
- High willingness to travel for client/partner meetings and industry events
