Job Description
Reporting in a matrix structure to local General Management and Corporate Finance, this position is responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international accounting, tax, and treasury regulations. The role also involves overseeing financial controlling activities to support strategic decision-making and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting & Tax: Prepare financial statements (local and IAS/IFRS), ensure compliance with tax obligations, and manage audits.
- Treasury: Handle cash flow, projections, and banking relationships.
- Controlling: Lead budgeting and forecasting, provide actionable financial insights to management, and ensure timely corporate reporting.
- Internal Control: Manage compliance with corporate guidelines and internal/external audits.
The Successful Applicant
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven expertise in accounting and tax within multinational environments, preferably in Pharma or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS), tax regulations, and transfer pricing.
- Experience in financial controlling, budgeting, and reporting within complex corporate structures.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Office tools.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented approach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Additional European languages are a plus.
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent.
- Postgraduate specialization is an advantage.
