The Opportunity
This is your chance to to join the electrical installations team at our Madrid office. The selected person will work in an international and highly collaborative environment, participating in national and foreign projects, meeting professionals from all over the world.
As a Junior Electrical Engineer At Arup, You Will
- Participate in the full design, supervision of electrical and special installations in buildings and infrastructures.
- Perform consulting tasks in the field of sustainability and energy.
- Get involved in the preparation of calculations, reports, plans and technical specifications for a variety of national and international projects.
- Provide support in the selection of equipment for use in the building and infrastructure.
- Coordinate work with engineers from other disciplines and architects.
- Attend to meetings and communication with clients.
We Are Looking For Someone Dynamic And Proactive That Wants To Develop Their Career In The Installations Field. Ideally, You’ll Bring
- Degree or master’s in electrical engineering, Engineering in Industrial Technologies with a specialty in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or Industrial and Automatic Electronic Engineering.
- 0-2 years of experience. If you have experience, it will be valuable to have performed functions like those described, especially in the design of electrical installations.
- Fluent level of written and spoken English and Spanish.
- Flexibility and capacity for teamwork.
- Knowledge in IoT and information technologies.
- Specializations in the field of renewables, energy storage and electric mobility.
- Previous knowledge of Revit/Caneco/DIALux/Etap.

We offer an extensive range of water engineering and consultancy services including infrastructure design, asset management strategy, flood mitigation, sustainable water management, water strategies, and valuable sector-related research
The Opportunity
This is your chance to participate in project that will involve the calculation and dimensioning of water networks and infrastructures in the unique projects carried out in the company's Civil Department .
As a Water Trainee At Arup, You Will
- Provide support in the d esign and calculation of drinking water, irrigation, and sewerage networks for urban developments .
- Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing with other multidisciplinary team s.
We Are Looking For Someone That Is Dynamic And Proactive, And That Is Willing To Work In a Team Or Professionals In The Water Portfolio. Ideally, You’ll Bring
- Currently enrolled in a degree or Master´s in Civil Engineering
- Interest in the technical field of water engineering
- Fluent levelt of written and spoken English and Spanish (C1)
- Knowledge of Autocad and ArcGIS.
- Flexibility, Teamwork.
- Interest in learning water software.
- It would be valuable if you have Infoworks ICM, SWMM knowledge or any other water software .
- Be enrolled in the university to be able to establish an agreement with the University
- Immediate incorporation
- Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship)
- Schedule: From 20 to 40 hours per week to be defined with the student
- Remuneration: will depend on the student's level of training and the number of hours established.

The Opportunity
This is your chance to gain hands on experience in the Sustainability & Climate team working with experts in the field. You will be involved in helping organisations to evaluate the specific climate and sustainability issues they are facing now and in the future. Our advice spans economic planning, environmental, energy and sustainability expertise, business strategy and regulatory compliance .
As a Sustainability & Climate Trainee at Arup, you will:
- Ac tively participate in a field that is clearly growing, working alongside the rest of the senior team, a group of professionals with extensive experience in the sector.
- Get involved in sustainability certification and consulting tasks, LEED, BREEAM certifications and other tasks that may arise within the Department.
- Will be involved from the first moment in specific sustainability consulting tasks.
- Have the possibility of visiting the site.
We Are Looking For Someone Dynamic And Proactive That Has a Great Interest In Teamwork And In Developing Their Career In The Sustainability Field. Ideally, You’ll Bring
- To be currently studying one of the following careers: Architecture, Environmental Sciences, Building, or Industrial Engineering.
- Fluent level of written and spoken English and Spanish skills (C1) .
- Vocation to develop in the field of sustainability consultin g.
- Knowledge of energy simulation and/or life cycle analysis (IES, Hulc, One Click or other advanced simulation or modelling software) will be valuable.
- Knowledge of building installations, for example, building air conditioning.
- Be enrolled in the university to be able to establish an agreement with the University.
- Immediate incorporation.
- Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship).
