Freelance Brand Copywriter & Strategist
Camping · ,
Teletrabajo SaaS
About us
We're Camping - a video and brand partner for category-defining B2B SaaS companies. We help ambitious scale-ups sharpen what they stand for, write it in a way nobody else can copy, and turn it into films, campaigns and content that move the business. We're 25 people based in Barcelona. We're not a branding agency and we don't want to be one - we want to be the partner that helps companies find the deeper story under what they do, and then executes that story across brand, campaigns, and content. Writing is the spine of all of it.
We already work with a writer who fits this profile beautifully. We need a second one.
About the role
This isn't a role with a clean market title. Pure copywriters won't fit. Pure brand strategists won't fit. We need the hybrid: someone who leads the thinking and writes the words.
You'll work with us on multi-month engagements - brand evolutions, positioning sprints, campaign concepts, and content programs - for a roster of B2B SaaS scale-ups. Some projects you'll lead end-to-end. Others you'll plug into alongside our strategy lead, designers and producers.
You'd be writing manifestos, value propositions, positioning statements, website copy, sales decks, naming, tone of voice guidelines, campaign concepts, long-form thought leadership, and yes, occasionally a script. Across all of it, the work isn't 'execute this brief' - it's 'ask the right questions, frame the strategic answer, then write the thing that lands it.'
What you'll work on
We organise the work in three overlapping areas. You don't need to be 10/10 on all three, but you should be strong in at least two.
1. Brand messaging - positioning statements, value props, taglines, website copy, sales decks, naming, tone of voice guidelines, messaging architecture.
2. Content - long-form thought leadership, content hubs, podcasts, customer stories, talks, reports. Editorial work that earns attention rather than buys it.
3. Campaigns - creative campaign concepts from the brief through to final headline copy, in collaboration with our creatives and producers.
Who we think you are
- 5+ years writing for brands at a strategic level. You've led the thinking on positioning, brand voice, or campaign concepts - not just executed someone else's framework.
- A portfolio with at least 2-3 projects where you owned the strategic and verbal layer of a brand.
- Comfortable running a discovery interview with a founder or CMO and walking out with a positioning angle.
- A point of view on positioning. Dunford, Raskin, Neumeier - pick your school, but have one.
- English at native or C2 level.
- Self-managed and senior. Freelance by choice, set up to invoice EU clients, looking for a monthly retainer relationship.
The engagement
Monthly retainer, freelance contract. 8-12 days/month to start. Initial 3-month engagement with intent to extend through end of 2026. Remote, CET-friendly hours. We're based in Barcelona - bonus if you can occasionally join workshops in person.

About Camping
We're Camping, a small-but-mighty brand storytelling & video agency based in Barcelona, helping B2B tech companies transform from 'boring' to heartfelt through brand & video storytelling. As we continue building long-term creative partnerships with flagship B2B SaaS clients, we're looking for a full-time Post-Production Coordinator to join the production team. Have we mentioned we're trialing a 4-day workweek?
About the role
We're looking for a full-time Post-Production Coordinator to take ownership of post-production delivery from offline edit to final wrap. You'll be the operational backbone of our flagship video campaigns - keeping post-production stages on track, well-coordinated, and delivered on time.
You'll partner closely with the Head of Production and Head of Creative, and act as the day-to-day point of contact for the editorial team, motion designers, external sound studios, post-production vendors, and the client side on delivery timelines and reviews. Your job is to make sure every stage of post-production hands off cleanly, every deliverable lands on deadline, and nothing falls through the cracks.
This is not a junior coordination role. We're looking for someone who has owned post-production delivery end-to-end before and is comfortable making decisions, flagging risks, and pushing things forward with confidence.
Core responsibilities
Project ownership: Own the post-production timeline and delivery of assigned video campaigns from offline edit to final wrap. Coordinate post-production stages across creative and production teams. Run post-production kick-off and wrap meetings. Flag risks early and propose solutions.
Post-production leadership: Coordinate handoffs between editors, motion designers, color, sound, VFX, and localization vendors. Manage Frame.io review workflows. Keep Google Drive project folders organized. Oversee localization, dubbing, copyright/licensing checks, and final delivery packaging.
Stakeholder coordination: Act as day-to-day point of contact for clients on post-production delivery timelines and reviews. Coordinate with the creative team on motion graphics, sound design, and VFX timelines. Liaise with external sound studios, freelance editors, motion designers, and post-production vendors.
Process & quality: Enforce naming, versioning, and folder conventions. Document and continuously improve post-production workflows. Support onboarding of new freelancers. Keep the project archive clean and the asset library actually useful.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in post-production coordination/management (producer, post producer, or post-production coordinator background)
- Direct hands-on experience with post-production workflows: editorial, color, sound, motion, VFX, localization, multi-language delivery
- Strong project management skills - comfortable running multiple post-production tracks in parallel
- Excellent stakeholder communication - confident with clients, vendors, and creative team
- Fluent English (C1+); Spanish is a strong plus
- Tool fluency: Asana, Frame.io, Google Drive, Notion, Slack
- Based in Barcelona - hybrid (office 2 days/week, more during onboarding)
What we offer
- Immediate incorporation
- €34k-€38k gross yearly salary (depending on experience)
- 4-day work week in trials (since January 2025)
- Flexible working arrangements
- Key role in shaping campaigns for innovative B2B tech companies in Europe
- Balanced work culture with in-person team events
