As Repair Center Engineer Apprentice, you will support our Service team in repair and refurbishing activities.
Job Description
Responsible of equipment refurbishment:
- Equipment registrations
- Diagnostics, quotations and parts orders if necessary
- Equipment repair/check/preparation/refurbishment: removal of panel, cleaning, dust removal, complete reassembly of the systems, general test of functioning
- Follow up and Traceability of repair and intervention files
- Establishment of Intervention reports (RIT)
- IMPORTANT: candidates must have finished their official degree or equivalent in the last 3 years and they must not have had this type of contract previously - The length of this contract is up to 12 months.
- Technical background - Grado en electromedicina clínica.
- Good knowledge of the different areas of Medical Devices.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs, is able to train on and demonstrate GE HealthCare Products & Services
- Creates a personalized relationship with the customers in order to maintain customer satisfaction and engage with new account and existing account sales opportunities to establish credibility with clinicians and drive clinical strategy
- Build personalized presentations based on knowledge gained about the customer, demonstrating how GE HealthCare solutions can improve the customer's business environment
- Demonstrate, promote & sell assigned products and services within territory; must be able to demonstrate proficiency in using the products applications in a clinical setting
- Develop, coordinate and deliver product applicative training to customers on software and/or equipment use, monitor customer installations within assigned territory/region to improve customer satisfaction and maintain customer relation
- Working with sales leaders to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities and support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and promotion as well as customer training
- Fluent Spanish and English language. Portuguese is desirable.
- Strong clinical/technical experience
- Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills (ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to external customers, global counterparts and to team members in other functional organizations)
- Understand and present complex material in understandable terms
- Solid problem solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict, communicate issues and propose solutions to both internal team members and external customers)
- Willingness to travel within territory for trainings, sales meetings and tradeshows.
- X-RAY technician is a must.
- Proven track records in clinical applications
- Clinical experience in large hospitals
- Healthcare business and process knowledge
- Persuasive and able to influence clinical decision for GE HealthCare
- Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desire and ability to communicate effectively using local language).
