What You Will Do

This pivotal role reports to the Director of Service Operational Excellence within the Building Solutions sector for EMEALA. You will lead and implement process and application enhancements across service operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America (EMEALA).

In this role, you will drive the deployment of regional change initiatives, including innovative business tools that support strategic growth objectives and ensure smooth process adoption. These tools include (but not limited to) Service CRM applications, technician sales lead management, and field quotation solutions. Your focus will be on delivering project outcomes on time, within budget, and achieving planned financial and operational benefits.

How You Will Do It

Your expertise in operations management will be key as you collaborate closely with regional teams, program teams, and EMEALA service leaders. You will lead teams dedicated to targeted process improvement initiatives and develop comprehensive regional implementation plans. You will conduct assessments and valuations of anticipated business benefits, ensuring a robust return on investment.

Additionally, you will coordinate with resources to ensure successful execution of improvement and change initiatives, adhering to timelines and budget constraints. Regular communication of progress to regional sponsors and business leaders will be essential, as will identifying potential challenges and collaborating on timely resolutions. You will also oversee specialized activities, including process mapping, application testing, and operational data analysis.

What You Will Do

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to be responsible for delivering day-to-day services in Spain, according to in-house requirements and outsourced services provided, ensuring timeliness, quality and in keeping with the agreed service levels (SLAs). You will deal directly with the payroll provider and advise the Payroll leadership team concerning potential risks. The role is also responsible for ensuring fluid end-to-end processes between on site, in country, cross business, vendor and Johnson Controls leadership representatives and responsibilities.

How You Will Do It

• Take ownership of the day-to-day processing operation to ensure we meet local service delivery agreements.
• Handle the relationship between the department, the business and the outsourcing partner
• Setting work priorities in accordance with the workload, timeframes and change requests
• Supervise outsourced partner performance and delivery ensuring SLAs are met
• Utilising the HRIS Workday
• Prepare input & output for payroll sign off by Payroll manager
• Provide payroll and reporting support
• Liaise with all collaborators and business partners internally and externally
• Assist the Payroll Manager with project work as and when it arises
  
  

• Experience in Spanish payroll and payroll tax processes
• Excellent research and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate knowledge of excel (V Look ups and Pivot tables)
• Ability to calculate changes to pay rates based on time off, overtime, etc.
• Ability to gather data from multiple sources
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is essential, knowledge of another European language will be beneficial
