Havaianas is bringing joy to your feet since 1962, was born and raised in Brazil, to spread to the world the spontaneous Brazilian lifeway. Havaianas opened its EMEIA headquarters in Madrid (Spain), and achieved immediate success in the fashion and apparel industry. Today, with 7 offices in Europe and point of sales in more than 20 European countries, Havaianas came to offer innovative and high quality products, through color, joy and a comfortable and sophisticated lifestyle.


We are looking for a People Intern to join the Havaianas Europe team at our headquarters in Madrid, Spain.


Purpose of the Role:

To support the People department by managing talent acquisition processes, compensation and benefits administration, and HR operations. With a focus on organization, detail, and teamwork, this role contributes to creating a structured and engaging employee experience in a multicultural environment.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage job adverts and applications through LinkedIn Recruiter and other job platforms.
  • Pre-screening of candidates and participate in interview processes.
  • Organize induction agendas.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Support the management of the employees’ benefits.
  • Assist the People department during the payroll process.


HR Administration:

  • Control invoices from People providers and support the invoicing process.
  • Be responsible for the internal People platform: proper control of employee contracts, payroll, and professional information.
  • Monitor holiday balances.
  • Support the monthly financial close process.
  • Manage People KPIs.


Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good level of English.
  • Any other language is a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Strong task, priority, and time management skills.
  • Responsibility, respect for deadlines, and attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills, communication skills, and teamwork.
  • Passionate about working in a multicultural environment.
